Harmonies Misunderstood

He had the grace of a grand piano
His melodies going in harmony with her playful mind
But she thought she knew the song that his intentions played
As she went along, dancing to false prophets... Utter lies

The mind games proceeded, and the more she danced along
The music got to her heart and down she fell when the bass dropped
His melodies got deeper and serenaded was she
Volumes pounded and pounded... It just didn't stop

The slow tempo began
Her shield began to crumble and her clothes disappeared
Her voice became his chorus, her plea became his ending
Oh sweet melodies got distant, fading into silence
The song ended, she's been played
But he... Turned the next page
