Cynthia shut her phone off and let out a heavy breath. She stood up from her bed, and walked into her living room where Heidi sat on the couch watching tv. When she saw Cynthia, she turned the volume down and opened her arms wide for her daughter.
"How'd it go?" Heidi asked wrapping her arms around Cynthia.
"Fine." Cynthia answered shortly. She cuddled into her mom close for comfort. "I still think I'm gonna take it slow before fully going back to social media."
"Do whatever you need, baby." Heidi answered. "You need to make sure getting better is your first priority."
