"Good morning Ms. Kane." She said happily as I dropped my bag on my table. My office was breathtakingly beautiful.

I walked around to the other side of the table and sat down.

"Morning Cam," I said with a smile. "You seem chirpier than usual."

"And you should too! I have great news for you. "

"Shoot."

"Well, Mr. Holt just signed the final papers for the 250 million dollar mosaic!"

"Oh, that's amazing! So send the 30% to the gallery and I'll start working on how much everyone will get as their bonus. Anything else?"

"Two new clients. Mr. Aubrey wants to kick off his art love for us with something Picasso-ie ."

"Hmmm. So he's expensive, I like that. Tell Angela that she's handling him. She should treat him right, if we lose him, she loses her job."

"Of course. But you handle all our major clients."

"Well, when he buys something worth a billion or more, let me know. Who's the other client ?"

"Mr. Black." Oh no!

"Mr. Black....."

"Oh sorry! Mr. Karrion Black. He's coming in today to sign all the necessary documents to officially make you his art scout and purchaser. "

"Me? Oh no, tell Kat that she's on this one."

"But he's dropped a payment of  9 million euros just to have this meeting set up. He was very specific. He said it's either you or no one. " I can't let my job at the Organization affect my hustle.

"Fine. Let me know when he gets here. "

"His appointment is set for 2 pm today."

"Wonderful. " I said smiling as I turned on my laptop. I waited for her to leave but instead, she took a seat. "Can I help you, Cam?" I asked as I checked my emails on my laptop.

"I'm pregnant!" She blurted out happily. Pregnant? That's new. I got so lost in my thoughts wondering how she ended up pregnant. "Am I fired?"

"Oh no," I said laughing as I walked around to the other side of the table and sat down next to her. "I'm happy for you, I'm just shocked. You never mentioned a boyfriend or husband..."

"Yeah. I um. I messed up." She took a deep breath and then looked at me. "I went out with a friend a few weeks ago and we went clubbing you know. We had some drinks..actually lots of them. I got to talking with this guy and I ended up leaving with him." I turned and gave her a disappointed look. "And I know how much you hate it when I leave with strangers but it happened ok? I woke up in his apartment and we never spoke again. And now, I'm pregnant."

"Who is he?"

"Simon Parker." Wow. I scoffed under my breath. She slept with one of the guys who works security for Leonardo. "Is anything wrong Sophie?"

"No. Not at all. I just have a lot of work to do. You should probably tell Angela about her latest client. "

"Of course. " She looked at me hesitatingly and then she left. Simon? Why was I in so much disbelief? Maybe because Simon is married! With three daughters!!!

After hours of working on paperwork, I checked my time and it was 2 pm on the dot. I cleared the papers on my table in preparation for Mr. Black's meeting and I waited. 2:15 pm, nothing. 2:20 pm, still nothing. At 2:33 pm, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," I said without raising my head.

"Mr. Black's here," Camille said.

"Please let him in." She nodded and left. I had arranged all the necessary documents that he needed to go through and sign before we could officially take him on as a client. As my office door opened, I got a call from Leo and I had to answer it. Karrion just casually walked in and sat down opposite me.

"I can't talk right now but I'll call you when I'm done here. " I could hear an argument on his side but..oh well.

"Yeah, but we're still on for dinner?"

"Of course." I dropped the call and focused my attention on Karrion.

"You're a very hard woman to track down Ms. Kane" His voice was deep and I could feel the dangerous presence that followed him everywhere.

"Well, I'm a woman who doesn't want to be found. I was relatively surprised when I heard about your newfound interest in art. What prompted it?" I asked as I leaned back in my chair. I removed my glasses and focused on his words. He had a smirk on his face and he just smiled.

"You see, after my birthday after-party with you, I came to the realisation that art comes in different forms and you, my dear, are a work of art. So, as any smart investor would, I chose to invest in you. And apparently, that happens to be the only way to get to you."

"You have a blunt yet sharp tongue," I said shaking my head.

"You didn't seem to have an issue with that last night."
