Hey my wonderful readers :)
This chapter is dedicated to @SimplyWookie   for the AMAZING cover. I really loved it and this is one of the covers that made it hard to choose the other one. But that's why I'm using it here now :)
Here's the 8th chapter:

***

Excited to see my friends, I got up as fast I could and limped to the door with the help of my crutches.

Throwing open the door I said, "Emily! Rachel! God, it been so-"

I cut myself off abruptly when I realised who it was standing at my doorstep.

"Archer?"

***

I groaned. "What is it now?"

He placed a hand over his heart in mock hurt.

"I thought we were friends now." He pouted.

As much as I hated it, he looked undeniably cute right now, making all annoyance disappear.

Did I just think Archer Freeman was cute?

What the actual fuck?

That's when I noticed what was different about him.

The little bit of stubble he normally sported was gone. I assume it was to make him look dangerous and intimidating. Well, he achieved that goal.

See? There's nothing wrong with you.

"You shaved." I stated, completely blasé.

"And you're wearing you're glasses." He retorted.

I've had glasses ever since I was ten, which was another thing Archer taunted me about. I got contacts at the beginning of freshman year. It wasn't because I was embarassed by him or anything. It was simply 'cause I liked the look. I still wore my glasses often when I was too lazy to put the contacts on.

"Well yeah..." I replied, "Its not like I'm going anywhere."

"Umm, wrong." He said.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"I said you're not staying at home all day." He said in a "duh" tone.

I was still confused as to what he was talking about and checked my watch for the date.

He rolled his eyes and stepped past me, into my house.

"What the fùck are you doing?!" I screeched.

"Winter Tabitha Meyers! Language!"

I winced at my mother's usage of my full name.

"Yeah, Tabitha." Archer chimed, "Didn't you hear it was rude for a lady to swear?"

I gritted my teeth in response and let out a calming breath.

I then glanced at Archer to see him going up to my room.

"Archer! What are you doing?"

"Finding you something to wear."

"Of course you are." I muttered.
