8 years ago I went to rehab and got clean after I overdosed again from the amount of heavy drugs I was taking, but I'm glad I went there. I'm glad I decided to get clean because 5 years later, Cassie gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
We named her Emilia.
She's deaf in her right ear which makes it harder for her to hear out of her left ear, but we taught her sign language and we also taught Eloise and Jayden.
I'm 27 now, Cassie's 28, Eloise is 11 turning 12, Jayden is 9, and Emilia is 3.
Since then life is perfect from what I can say.
"It's time to wake up," I told Eloise
"Noo" she put the covers over her face
"C'mon you got school"
"School is hell"
"Tell me about it"
"You're not in school anymore"
"Yeah but I was there and it sucked but you have to get through it"
"Five more minutes"
"Nope," I picked her up bridal style.
"Stop put me down I'm up I'm up," she laughed.
"Go wake up your brother and go get ready"
"Fine," she rolled her eyes while turning the opposite way.
"Breakfast will be downstairs"
"Thanks mom"
"Noo problem"
I left Eloise's room and went over to Emilia's room and lightly shook her away
"it's time to wake up baby"
She groaned and turned the other way
"I made breakfast"
She turned back to face me and smiled. ________
"Damn Eloise can you dress a little bit less like me on your first day back?" I told her
"No because at least I have style unlike the other kids in my class," she rolled her eyes.
