I clean myself up and compose myself while Izuku picks up his journal from the koi fish. "Alright that's enough." I giggle hearing that, not to make fun of him but I thought it was cute seeing him talk to the fish. He blushed a little from being embarrassed and smiled. I smile back, it's amazing how he can fix everything by just being with me. Maybe that's his quirk.
I'm glad he cares about me, it's comforting to know that someone does. I stand up and wait for him to walk with me. We start heading to our street, it's convenient how close we live next to one another. I look at him and he has a dejected look on his face, it's probably because of what Bakugo said to him. That bastard. Facing forward while being angry at my ex, "Don't listen to him, I know you can do it Izu."
"He's right (Y/n), I'm quirkless. It'll be impossible for me to get into UA."
"I know you Mido," I stop walking and look him straight in the eye, "nothing is impossible, this is just another hard level that needs some thinking. I know you can become a hero because you've always helped others ever since we were kids."
He sighs and looks the other way. Suddenly, the man-hole lid in front of us moves. "What?" I step closer to get a better look at it.
"(Y-y/n) wait!" I was pulled away from the sewer opening. My ears pick up the sounds of liquid and is that... Izuku struggling? I open my eyes to see a sludge monster trying to fit inside Midorya!

"Calm down, it'll only hurt for about 45 seconds. Thanks for the help kid, you're my hero." It's ironic for him to say that.
I can't speak, I'm too scared to even squeak. A real villain in front of me and he's going to take my best friend. My only... I quickly get up to use my quirk. How dare he harm someone dear to me?! "GET AWAY FROM HIM!" I blew a chunk out of him with my screech but he reformed. "I said GET AWAY!"
"Young lady, stand back. I'll save your friend." That voice. Looking behind me to see, it's, "All might!"
"You have no need to worry, because I am here!"
I stand back and brace myself as he charges up a punch. I've always seen wind kick up with All Might's punches so I have to make sure I don't blown away. "Texas Smash!" The monster explodes due to the wind pressure that All Might created with his Smash. He's gone! Izuku flies in the air. Once again, my legs move on their own. All I can think about is catching him. I jump and catch him bracing for impact as we hit the ground. I start crying again, not because I was sad, but because I was relieved that Mido was okay.
(Special All Might POV)
I bottle up the villain while the girl makes sure her friend is okay. She must really care for him, I can hear her sobbing. While putting the 2L bottles filled with the villain in my cargo pants, I see someone's notebook on the floor. This must belong to one of kids. I'll sign it for them.
(Izuku's POV)
"Mmmh.. huh?"
"H-hey Izu, guess who saved the day" The angel speaks gives the sweetest smile they could muster. Wait, that's (Y/n)! I'm in her arms. I feel my face heat up, so this is what it's like. Who saved me, if it wasn't (Y/n) then who-
"ALL MIGHT?!"
(Your POV)
Izuku springs up from my arms and heads over to All Might. At least nothing's broken. I can't help but smile at the sight of him meeting his idol. "Hey Izu! I'll be going home okay? Have fun with All Might!"
"Are y-you sure?"
"Yeah! Go for it! We'll study later at your place alright?"
"O-Okay!"
Heading home, I thought that sludge guy was taken care of. But my eyes had deceived me when I saw him again.
~time skip~
Right now, the heroes in the area are fighting a villain. But not just any villain, it's the same villain that Mido and I encountered an hour ago. I thought All Might had him bottled up! Unless something must've gone wrong when he was transporting him. In any case, it looks like someone is caught up inside him.
Blonde spiked hair? I walk up to the crowd to get a closer look. The victim in the sludge was... Bakugo? How? Why? He went home with that girl, I saw him. Now's not the time to- someone just ran into the fray. Someone from my school, I could tell from his uniform. A yellow backpack? My realization hits me. I start pushing through the crowd but when I made it to the front the fire fighter hero stopped me.
"Please I have to go in there! That boy who ran in, he's my friend please!"
"We're doing everything we can to keep the situation under control miss. We don't need any further complications." I would like to send in my souls to help but at this point I don't think that's a good idea. I'll just do what the hero says.
~time skip after All Might changes the weather~
I'm sitting on the floor with my head in my hands. This boy might as well be the death of me. First he protects me, and then he charges at the same guy to help Bakugo. Izuku is getting scolded by the heroes meanwhile Bakugo is praised. Honestly I'm just glad they're safe, I wouldn't want either of them to die even though Bakugo over there ripped my heart into pieces. I get off the floor and start to head home but was soon stopped in my tracks by someone grabbing my wrist.
"Why are you here?" Slowly looking at the person who grabbed my attention, of course it was Bakugo.
"I'm here because I-I just happened to be walking h-home. I-I'll be going n-now." I yank my wrist out of his grasps and quickly walk away wiping tears from my eyes. I can still feel him staring at me as I leave. Today was a roller coaster.
(Special Bakugo POV)
I made my decision and I'm free to do what I want now. So what's this feeling of regret? Have I gone soft?
