"Katherine babe." Zayn pulled out a film camera from his pocket. He posed her and took a few shots of her. she sat in one of the pool chairs in her stunning gown and high fashion look and posed as the reflect of the water played on her face. They had a bond. A common interest and I could tell she loved to be his muse. Maybe they were suppose to be together and I was suppose to forget her.

I leaned on the wall as I watched her playfully pose for him. I even found myself smiling as she blew him a kiss and twirled around the pool. I took a step forward to move away and give them space but as I did Katherine tripped on her heels and began falling towards the pool. I quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her towards me and away from the water. Her hands pressed to my chest and she fell into me. Her breathing heavy as she looked into my eyes. My hands were on her small waist, "Thank you." She breathed and looked down at her hands on her chest. Her thumb ran over one of the buttons on my white shirt.

"No problem. That gorgeous dress should never get wet." I hope she knew how I was implying that she was gorgeous. She smiled and her cheeks flushed.

Zayn ruined the moment by clearing his throat.

"Maybe we should go back to the party." Zayn said reaching out for Katherine's hand. My moment with her ended they walked ahead of me as I trailed and began to twist my ring again. I shut off all the lights as we walked up the stairs. I looked up for a second and caught her eye staring back at me. She gave me a small smile. Only the corners of her lips turned up a little bit but it was enough to make me at least a bit happier.

"My dad took me to play with Ronaldo. It was sick!" Liam spoke about his short time in England last weekend. His dad knew everyone there was to know in football. He owned a few teams himself. Everyone was telling stories about there weekends off of school. The only thing that happened during my weekend was getting yelled at by my parents to get out of the house so they could plan there perfect party. I sat around the fireplace in the kitchen with all of my friends. Louis was using a pillow to show Liam the football trick he learned. I checked to see if my mom was anywhere in site because is she saw anyone messing up her Italian leather pillows my neck would be on the line.

"Soccer is such a dumb sport." Ivy said as she picked at her nails.

"Excuse me? What is soccer?" Liam turned to her and smirked. He hated when he heard the American way of saying it.

"Never say that about the best sport in the world." Louis chimed in.

I felt Natalie nudge me a bit, "I'm surprised you aren't defending football." She laughed but then stopped as she realized I wasn't making a snide remark or laughing along with her.

"Not in the mood." I said as I stood up and walked away from the group. I went to find my parents who were standing by the extra long dinning tables. I soft playlist of music was playing in the background the song at the moment was You Made Me Love You by Harry James & Helen Forrest. I put my hand on my dads shoulder as I came up behind them.

"How do you think it's going Harry?" He asked looking back at me.

"It's perfect. As always." I smiled at my mom.

"Thanks sugar." My mom rubbed my back.

"Zayn's girlfriend is wonderful Harry. You need a women like that." My dad mentioned as he motioned to them dancing on the huge dance floor in front of the tables. I lost my appetite as I watched him lead her around.

"Yeah she is so funny! We talked to them a while ago. She goes to the same school as you. Did you know that?" My mother smiled at them. I watched as Katherine sang in Zayn's ear.

"No I didn't." I looked down.

"That Zayn has everything going for him." My dad chuckled, he was oblivious to the fact that he was rubbing everything in my face.

After a bit of small talk the head chef came out and rung the bell that signaled dinner. Everyone made there way to there places that were all marked by name cards with gold leaf writing. I sat between my mom and Natalie. Katherine and Zayn were father down the table on the opposite side.

"Stop staring at her." Natalie elbowed me. "It's all you've been doing all night." She whispered.

"Shut up." I shot back ripping my eyes from the couple.

"You're like a sad puppy." She laughed.

"I said shut up." I tried to be quiet so my mother wouldn't hear me being rude to a guest. I stuffed my face with a piece of bread that was sitting in front of me.

"Do you love her?" Natalie asked. I then looked over to her as she mouthed the words to Ella Fitzgerald. I wanted to tell her ridiculous she looked. I wanted to hear her laugh and I wanted to be the cause of that beautiful laugh. I bit my bottom lip as I stared. Damn, did I love her? I'm a fucking jealous bitch. Am I whipped? Fuck. I found myself smiling as she took a sip of the red wine put in front of her and her face fell into a sour grimace. Fuck, I loved her.

"I think I might." I said more to myself than to Natalie.

"Don't you fucking mess her up Harry." Natalie whispered. "She is so happy. Just look at her. That smile hasn't fallen from her face all night." I knew she was right.

"I know."

"She is too good for you." Natalie's words stung like reopening a wound.

"I know."
