8• The Deer😦

39 18 3

Once upon a time long ago
A deer saw himself in the lake,
He felt proud to see his horns
But was ashamed for his leg's sake.

"How much do my crown suites me
But what if I see my feet,
I wonder why these filthy skinny
Legs I've got." He bleat.

Then all of a sudden he heard
The noises of the hunters nearby,
He knew they were behind him
So he ran at a speed very high.

But Alas! His pride crown
Which were all curly with curves,
Tangled in the crowded bushes
Those praises they didn't deserve.

He let go of them quickly
Before the hunters could arrive,
Then he used his ugly skinny legs
To run away and save his life.

When he at last successfully
Ran away from the danger zone,
He realised how skilful his legs were
And he is nothing if they are gone.

The day he learnt a lesson
From the hunters unintentionally,
That beauty doesn't matter
Precious the talents will always be.
