chapter 16

The next day after classes i went home and washed up and took a quick nap 'cause i need to go to the restaurant with Taehyung in the evening.

I woke from my sleep at the sound of my phone ringing.

A call.

Kim Taehyung - it said.

I said up, cleared my throat a few times before picking up the call.
(i don't know why I did that though)

"Hey"

"Are you ready yet? I'll come to your house in 10 mins. Get ready! Palli!" And he hung up.

I quickly got up.

It's a part time so I'm obviously going with something very comfortable, oversized sweatshirt and an ankle length jeans with some sport shoes that is.

In the meantime I heard the doorbell ring.

That must be Taehyung.

I ran to open the door.

"Oh wasyeo..... Just a sec!"

I took my purse which had the essentials and locked the door and came out of the apartment.

After walking for some time we came to the familiar food shop and the kind ahjumma. Then we turned right and kept walking till we came to a- what looked like- a fabulously decorated restaurant.

"Wow its so beautiful!!!" I exclaimed.

"4-star" his eyebrows danced up and down before he pushed the glass door and went in.

I hugged myself.

"Let's go talk to the manager" Taehyung began searching for him.

When we found him he came forward with a smile.

"Is that the person you were talking about? The one who wanted this job?"

"Ah yes sir she is the one."

"Well as Taehyung knows you, you can just start working from tomorrow. It's better if you get used to what and how you need to do things today. Now if you'll excuse me i need to go somewhere."

"Of course sir!" I smiled brightly.

He bowed and went away.

I was so happy i suddenly hugged taehyung without another thought.

I did not realize it before a minute and when I did it was too late.

He stood awkwardly pressed between my arms, held tight in my embrace.

Shit!

I released him hurriedly and turned away with a nervous laugh.

Why did I do it just when things were turning normal?!

He was staring at me intently.

"What?"

"What what?"

"Why are you looking at me like that? It was a mistake on my side so uh i am s-sorry."

"No i just wanted to say its perfectly fine between friends right?"

Phew! "Yeah of course!" i smiled at him and he went back to his work.

Thank God he took it that way.

We went home after a tiring day.

I somehow opened my shoes before flinging myself on bed.

I couldn't even wash up.

What a day!

I could not keep my eyes open and gradually dozed off to sleep.
