Saturday, February 13th
Quintez P.O.V
"Today's that day." I said to myself in the mirror. It was 9am and the dance didn't start until 7 tonight. The boys are gonna meet me here later to get dress.
I got up early to make calls and make sure everything was as planned. I stopped by the school and looked at everything. I checked a basic list of everybody who was gonna be there. A hefty amount of people but they all cool and chill.
Around 5pm the boys came over. Along with our dads, Chase, Derrick, and Montez. Why everybody had to come I have no clue.
"Wassup." JB said coming in.
"Hey. Where Ray?"
"Right here." He said running up outta breath.
"Where did you just come from?" I asked confused.
"He dropped me off all the way off at the corner he said his tire was flat and to go check it." He said mugging JB.
"You were getting on my nerves." He said nonchalantly. He lowkey smiling tho you wouldn't know if you weren't paying attention.
"Y'all weird get in so we can hurry up."
I had a all black suit. While JB and Ray was wearing dark blue suits they were both going with Jazmine.
"So which one of y'all couldn't find a date?" I asked while trying to fix my tie.
"I asked Jaz first he copied." JB said.
"I didn't feel like finding a date." Ray said shrugging. I laughed and gave up on the tie.
Once we were all done we went upstairs.
"Look at y'all." Isaiah, Ray dad, said. I took a good look at our outfits and I gotta say we look good as fuck.
"Not as good as I will in my green prom suit." Ray said dancing slightly. Me and JB rolled out eyes and ignored him.
"Yeah I gave up on my tie dad." I said walking over to him.
"You don't need it show a lil chest." He said and fixing it a lil.
"We gotta get going the girls are waiting." JB said I checked my phone 6:35pm.
"Alright let's go." Chase said.
"Umm what you mean?" I asked confused ain't now way they all coming.
"Let's go we gotta get pictures duhh." He said like it was obvious. I rolled my eyes and chose not to fight it.
Once we got to Zara's house I knocked on the door with everyone behind me. Marcus answered after a minute.
"Sup." Marcus said and it looked like he was deciding on letting us all in. "There in the kitchen." He said and moved aside. Sept for he stopped me when I tried to go in.
"Lemme talk to you real quick." He said and closed the door. I was suddenly real nervous.
"Umm yeah?"
