CTF?!

Mom-"Isn't it something about--------"

Dad-"Nian's Nian's mom I think you asked enough. I need to talk to her now."

Mom-"Ask then."

Dad-"Daddy's time please."

Mom-"Ohh". O-ok."

Dad is a really peaceful person. He doesn't talk without smile. And mom rules our home. My dad tries to make her happy at any cost.

So when his face is serious it means something is really serious. And my mom knows it.

She left the dining room and went upstairs. We heard the doors bang then dad started speaking.

"CTF? Really?"

"Hmm"

"You know everything right? I told you everything right?"

"I know dad but-------"

"This world doesn't care about this kind of profession. When I started medical studies these things were not just unique, it was nothing. We also started to think we will start this new thing,we will be famous. But at the end of the day we got nothing. Nothing!"

"But dad the situation is different now."

"I know dear. But stability? There is no stability in this profession. You don't know if you will win the next game."

"Dad every profession is like that. You also don't know what kind of disease is coming tomorrow."

"Ok. I agree with you. But why CTF dear? I didn't let you play CTF just because of this tension of mine. And now?

"Dad our relationship isn't that much strong enough. And if you are thinking about profession don't worry I will try my best to never get involve in this. And about dating, trust on me."

Dad sighed. I know dad loves me a lot. He trusts me a lot. Even if he has bad experience with this profession he will try to understand me.

"Ok I will try. But don't say your relationship is not strong. This generations dating life is too messy."

"Love you dad."

"Love you too. But I am happy that Zheng Hui is not your boyfriend. He is too boring."

"And my dad is too cool."

"And your mom is fierce."

The main story of my dad is he also wanted to play games professionally. But that game was not known. He tried to came up with something thinking China can do a lot of things in this area like other countries. But when they tried they failed. And it was obvious. That time people started to learn about computers. It was not possible. Then when I was 10 I started to watch programming videos, books and all. My dad noticed that and started teaching me games. I was not good at games but after starting ACM my skills improved a lot. But my dad told me to never play games thinking it like a profession. Just play as a past time. I don't have any regrets about not playing CTF rather I am happy because of knowing strategies I am really good at ACM.

One week passed like nothing happened. Mom tried to talk to me about this topic a lot but I avoided this as much as possible by staying at dorm. But the worst part is Han Shangyan didn't message me or phone me. I felt neglected and disappointed. I like him. But I didn't create this mess. But--------

Suddenly a message pops up.

H.S- I think we should talk.

T.N-Hmm I think so.

H.S-You can come to my office to talk.

T.N-I don't know know the route. And I shouldn't enter in your personal space before talking to you.

H.S- Oh ok. Then pick up a place and time.

I sent him the address of a coffee shop near my university and time. Tomorrow we will talk. Though in front of him I can not actually speak but we will see.

I was so excited to meet him that I couldn't sleep last night. I woke up really early and started to wait for the time. But because I am waiting, time was going so slow that I thought of calling him and change the time.

I got ready. I wore a pink top with a oversized hoodie and pink leather pant. 

I went there and saw Han Shangyan playing with his phone. I can't express how much nervous I am.

"Hi!"

Han Shangyan looked up with a cold expression. I can't tell what is going on his mind because of his eyes. It's so cold.

"You are late."

"What? I told 4 PM. And now it's 4:02 PM."

"Yeah. You are 2 minutes late."

"Oh."

"You want to order something?"

"Yeah. One strawberry milkshake."

A waitress came. And he ordered a strawberry milkshake and a mocha tea.

"So I am really sorry. My grandpa is annoying but this much I didn't know. Your parents were really angry right?"

"Umm not that much. But they didn't thought I would hide things."

"Actually I thought of saying it's all lie. But then felt it would be awkward for you and my grandpa."

Waitress returned with our orders.

"Umm it's yummy."

"Ohh. By the way you can tell your mom that we broke up. Right?"

"But won't they suspect that we were playing around? It wouldn't be a problem if my mom didn't know your grandpa but------"

"Hmm that's right. Then we can------date for somedays. I think."

"I can't fake things."

"I can't too. I am not saying to fake dating. I am a man I shouldn't play this kind of childish games. You suffered because of me and I need to take the responsibility."

I looked at him. He was looking really serious. His face is really cute but because of his coldness it looks mature. He has a perfect jawline and--------

"Tong Nian! What are you looking at?"

"Oh I am sorry. What were you saying?"

"We can date for sometime if you're ok with it. Then you can break up with me as per as your choice."

"I am ok with this."

"Hmm. I will try to be a proper boyfriend. If you need something you can tell me. Ok?

This is the moment what I never thought will come. I am happy that I am going to officially date him but one part if my mind knows even if it's real, it's actually not. But I don't want to end this time. I will never wish that.
