(Calvin pov)
Man, it's been 2 years since I live with Tracy permanently and it's just so, so cool! And my best friend Murph is adopted by him too which makes it even cooler! It's just so surreal that I'm living here, and when I say, 'surreal', I'm talking 'a total dream I've never really thought it would come true' surreal. Speaking of which, I think I got discovered by someone pretty legit who I guess saw me freestyling an-
"Aye, Calvin. Come on, we can't be late for school!" Murph yelled, interrupting my thoughts.
"Alright, alright. I'm coming, hold up a bit." I answered, hopping out of bed and rushed downstairs. Once I got to the dining room, I greeted Murph and Tracy who were at the breakfast table eating.
"Hey, morning y'all."
"Morning, Calvin."
"So...Calvin, what took you so long to get ready and join us for breakfast?"
"He was daydreaming about what this man said when he handed him one of those doing a-deal card"
"Murph!"
"What? You know this kind of news should be shared. So, excuse me for saying something."
"Calvin, it's great, really. But first off, how and where exactly did you meet him? Like, did he approach you or something."
"Uh, he did approach me, but I brush it off, thinking it was just voices in my mind. So, I just ignored it and went about my business....you know, doing my thing, being like mike, just..."
"Calvin!"
"Alright, alright, sorry. So, uh...he complimented my shot and I said, 'thanks', then he offered me an opportunity of a lifetime to do a deal."
"Uh, what kind of deal?"
"I'm not sure. But who knows? That deal might have me go to school half-time like I could get a job and stay home to help with the bills. Am I right, Tracy?"
"Yes, but no that's not happening."
"What, Come on, trace? Don't you w-"
"Calvin, I'm guessing whatever you're going to say, he'll probably still say no."
"Exactly, now hurry up. Y'all know I have to go somewhere right, so would y-"
"Okay, okay." I obeyed as Murph and I left to catch the bus to school.
