Here he was, standing in front of his grandfather's casket staring down at his pale lifeless face as tears strolled down his own rosy face. "I l-love you, grandpa." Jungkook managed to say with a shake in his voice, clearly trying to keep his sobs contained until he was somewhere private.

Jungkook knew he was holding up the line for goodbyes for too long so he knew he needed to hurry up, in that case, he placed the bouquet of white lilies that suggest that the soul of the deceased has returned to a peaceful state of innocence. That was something his grandpa told him...

"Goodbye," Jungkook whispered to the dead body before removing his hand from the casket and walking away with a heavy, aching heart.

His grandfather was everything to him, he was like his dad yet he wasn't. His grandpa would somehow always manage to put the brightest smile on his face and for some reason, he did the same. He spent most of his days at his grandpa's house looking at all the flowers in his backyard held and learning the real meaning behind the colorful plants instead of playing with the normal kids. Every word that he ever spoke brought so much sparkle and fascination into his eyes and that told such a story about the young boy.

When he thought about it, his grandpa knew everything...

"Jungkook-ah, are you okay?" His best friend and secret crush came up behind, grabbing him by the arm and turning him around to see all the pain he held in his once blissful eyes.

"No." And that was it...that was when Jungkook couldn't hold it in any longer so he let it all out, letting Jimin pull him into a comfortable embrace as he sobbed out all his pain, yet it wasn't even a quarter of the pain he felt and all Jimin did was hug him as right as humanly possible, trying his best not to cry as well but in the end, failed and cried with him.

Jimin was there for him, and that's what Jimin did, he helps you through your pain and grief, anger and frustration, joy and bliss, he was there for it all and Jungkook couldn't ask for a better friend than him in times like these.

After a few minutes of non-stop crying Jungkook finally settled down, his body relaxing as he sniffled. "I could just sleep here forever," Jungkook mumbled under his shaky breath, making Jimin smile a little.

"We could go to my place and snuggle if you want. You don't have to go out and eat with everyone if you don't want to Kook-ah." Jimin suggested and Jungkook accepted quickly, not wanting to stay around people anymore, he just wanted to be alone, alone with Jimin...

"Okay, let's go to my car," Jimin said and Jungkook peeled himself away from his body with all the strength he could manage.

The whole car ride was silent, sniffles coming from both males here and there until they made it to Jimin's cozy apartment. Walking up to the door and unlocking it Jimin opened the door gesturing for him to go in first and so Jungkook did, heading straight to Jimin's bedroom that he visited often. Jungkook took off his suit jacket and sat down on the edge of Jimin's bed, waiting for Jimin to come along with him so that they could snuggle.

Jimin entered the room and removed his suit jacket as well, unbuttoning his undershirt a few buttons and sitting down next to Jungkook with a sympathetic look only to be pulled down onto the bed into a tight embrace, Jungkook latched into the side of him as Jimin laid on his back.

"I love you, Daisy," Jungkook mumbled, placing a small peck on the olders neck while Jimin looked up at the plain white ceiling as a hard lump went down his throat.

"I love you too, Kookie."
