A few weeks ago, I received a lecture-like comment from somebody else's parent about how I write, and it's been weighing on my mind ever since. They said I compartmentalized when I wrote so the chapters would be longer. Every fanfiction writer has different styles of writing. It would've been fine if you had pointed out spelling or punctuation mistakes. Instead, you went after my writing, and that's something that you should never do. For one, it'll piss off the writers and hurt their feelings. Two, that's why some authors stop writing and take down their stories. This person knows who they are! So, I will be the bigger person and not name them.
