third person pov

" i'll practically try anything to get that fucker away from me" y/n laughed " but we need to lay out some ground rules" y/n said. "ground rules?" tommy questioned, " well if we are going to pretend that we are dating we have to make it realistic, so we should make some rules on what we can and can't do" y/n replied. eventually y/n and tommy agreed on these rules

rules for tommy and y/n

1. cuddling is allowed

2. hand holding is allowed ( but mainly do it in public because that's when people are actually watching)

3. say the same backstory when people ask how we started dating

4. forehead kisses, hand kisses, top of the head kisses are all aloud unless one of us is uncomfortable with it at the time

5. kissing on the lips is aloud, but only do it if you have to, to make our story more believable

6. always stop if someone if uncomfortable with something

7. try to be together as much as possible to make it believable

8. just have a movie night at least least once a fortnight ( due to the request of y/n)

9.  more rules can be added later if needed

those were their rule currently, y/n and tommy were feeling nervous a they walked back home from the park. tonight was the night they would tell everyone they were dating. what if no one believed them? what if they could see through tommy and y/n plan? worried thought ran through tommy and y/n head like wild fire. 

they were both thinking of the worst possible scenario when tommy quickly reached down and grabbed y/n hand unconsciously, y/n was shocked by this action at first but quickly held his hand back, giving it a light squeeze as reassurance.

 the walk back to the air bnb was quiet with both y/n and tommy deep in thought. even though it was quiet it wasn't awkward as you both walked side by side, hand in hand, along back to the house they were staying at.

eventually they made it home, only to be questioned by everyone else as they entered the air bnb. " where were you guys?" tubbo asked,

 " wait are you to holding hands?" schlatt asked raising an eye brow. 

you and tommy quickly let go of each others hands, flustered. " we just went to the park" tommy said nonchalantly, replying to tubbo. 

" that early in the morning?" tubbo questioned further.

 " yeah" tommy said trying to end the conversation.

 soon you and tommy went to you room, currently ranboo and tubbo were out so you guys decided to take a nap to process everything that was going on. Y/n laid down in her bed only to hear tommy quietly clear his throat. 

"yes tommy?" y/n asked tiredly 

" well i was wondering if we could well, um you know" tommy began

 " huh?" y/n asked

 " i was wondering if we could cuddle? i mean we don't have to i was just asking and don't feel pressured  to say yes or anything, i just thought since we where fake dating that we would need to act like, well , you know like we were dating..." tommy rambled on

 " its fine tommy, the answer is a yes" y/n said cutting tommy off from his rambling.

 tommy didn't reply but his smile told y/n he was feeling, over joyed! y/n and tommy got comfortable and fell asleep on the bed only  to wake up hours later to people taking photos.
