The Tribute Parade

The Tribute Parade

I sit there for  a while   looking around for nothing in particular  , then I see him .Marvel.

He looks at me puzzled I blush and relies I was staring at him , he walks over pulls me up from my seat  beside the carriage ,he spins me around and I giggle as he stands me .

" Wow Glimmer you look ....Stunning ." that makes me blush even more

 ”And you look marvelous “I say and wink he laughs at my use of his name in the compliment.                                                                            We sit back down and I look around at the gathering tributes .Then I fix my gaze on Marvel , he was quite handsome not as good looking as Devon  but if I had to bet I would say Marvel has a  handful of girls swooning over him  .

Marvel is taller than me with short brown hair and big eyes, he has a grin on his face but I don’t know why.

Suddenly a voice snaps me back from my daze. Its Cato and Clove  they are standing close by each other looking like they would  pounce out and kill you if you came near them .They  approach me and Marvel at our bench .

“Hey District one “Cato says in an arrogant voice Clove smiles at me and says

“Im Clove district two and this idiot here this is Cato” she smiles at me and gives the huge boy a shove.  “Mind what you call me shorty he says grabbing her and putting his arm around her throat. They laugh. It’s obvious they like each other! Pity though that they are going to fight to the death in the arena.

I extend my hand to Cato and clove and say “Names Glimmer this is Marvel “I say indicating to marvel

“So we were thinking  about in the arena and strategies and well we were wondering do you two want to be allies with me and Clove” Cato  says  not much curiosity in his voice as if we would turn down the careers !

“Sure we were gona ask you the same thing, weren’t we Glim “he smiles down at me

“Cool so we will talk more about it in training” Clove suggests I can tell by the tone in her voice I can tell she disapproves of the games! And really who could blame her sick!                                                                                                           Im so consumed in thought I don’t relies Cato and Marvel have walked off leaving me with just Clove she laughs

“Do you do that often; I mean go into a little world of your own?”Clove smiles at that moment I know that im going to trust Clove  and that if we had know each other In district one I can tell we would be friends .Clove and I talk for a while until séance cranes voice runs through  our ear pieces saying  two minutes everyone   

Marvel and Cato rejoin us and they say bye Clove and Cato walk arms linked down to there carriage as I am helped up to mine marvel grabs my hand and whispers “good luck they are gona love you”

5,4,3,2…

And the carriage is off down the street towards SnowsMansion. The Capitol people are going crazy screaming our names I smile and wave a bit!

 Soon all names are drowned out until two names remain

“KATNISS PEETA ,KATNISS PEETA “ the Capitol people scream I looked  back and see them District twelve I  am amazing and annoyed there costumes are amazing they are light on fire ! Im annoyed that nobody is paying attention to anyone else they join there hands and hold them high. I have to admit I admire Katniss has a lot of bravery and I respect her for saving that little girl what was her name? Primrose our carriage comes to a halt and I jolt forward!

 President Snow says a few words then we go back inside

“That was wonderful darlings “Arian beams 

“Yeah good job guys all eyes would have been on you except for those show of district twelve’s! “Gloss glares at them they were talking I seen Haymitch he mumbles something and Katniss looks over at us and Cato and Clove the leave quickly

“So we saw you talk to the district two tributes any word of an alliance?” Gloss asks

 “Actually yes they want us as allies as well we said we would talk more during training “I beam

“Good job sweetie, and I will talk a little to there mentor as well .Now come on its been a long day and training starts in the morning “

We walk back up to the elevator and go to level one I wave to clove as we pass them and she smiles back .once I get to my room I slip into my silk pajamas and sleep.

 Hey so hope you liked it: D tomorrow is the last day of my holidays L so thanks I wont be updating for a while sorry L I will as soon as can though only if I get an answer ok I get one tomorrow our in a few hours I will do more but I need to know do you want the tribute parade done in marvels pov and do d1 get to see the parade if so do you want Devon’s pov as well thanks xx
