Chapter 8: Dementors

"Bye Molly! Bye Arthur! Take care. I will see you all soon!" I said wishing them goodbye.

"Bye Stacey!" Arthur said.

"Take care dear. Bye-bye Andrew! Have fun with mommy sweetie," Molly cooed.

"Hello Ms. Ringe. Shall will take your luggage to the usual place?" He asked me very quickly as he shifted uneasily.

"Yes please. Are you alright there?" I asked him.

"Of course," He said, taking my luggage and running off.

That was odd. I shrugged it off and pushed Andrew's stroller down the station. I was greeted by students along the way and stopped by many girls who babied Andrew. I was looking for Remus but I couldn't see him anywhere. I felt the stroller go over someone's foot when I was looking the opposite way.

"In a rush?" The man asked.

My attention was brought back to what just happened.

"Oh sir I'm sorry I - oh hi Severus love. I didn't see you there!" I replied.

"Hello," Severus wished, kissing me lightly. "Looking for someone?"

"Actually yes, I am looking for Remus," I answered.

"He is a big boy he can take care of himself. Don't worry. Come on, let's go," He offered.

I agreed and walked along with him to the teacher's compartment.

I usually was in and out of the compartment full of teachers in seconds but not today. I walked in and all the female teachers died. They burst out in excitement and comments when I walked in with Andrew.

"Oh Stacey we heard about Andrew!"

"Isn't he adorable!"

"How sweet!"

"What was that story again?"

"It is good he is staying!"

They all squealed. I laugh as Madame Pomfrey pulled me over beside her and on my right Professor Aurora Sinistra sat. Severus gave me a small smile and walked into the room alone. He didn't want all this attention.

"Alright Stacey, does he have god parents?" Professor Sprout asked.

I stared at her for a second. I hadn't even thought of that.

"Honestly, I completely forgot about that! I will have to check," I told her.

"Are you sharing custody with Severus?" McGonagall asked.

Gosh these were good questions.

"I was thinking about it but I was also considering Clyde Brooke, the Auror?" I replied. He was more available and didn't have a dangerous position like Severus if Voldemort came back.

"He is one good looking man," Aurora giggled.

"Yeah he is. Have you guys seen Remus?" I asked.

"Don't worry, dear. I'm sure he is fine," Madame Pomfrey reassured.

"So, I heard about Rita Skeeter's article. That was a terrible thing! You're nothing like your mother!"  Professor Flitwick told me, completely appalled.

McGonagall gave me a comforting look. From all the teachers only she, Dumbledore and Severus knew the truth.

"Yes completely horrible! You saw that picture with her and you-know-who?" Professor Burbage said terrified.  "Gave me chills!"

"But you know what I think was the worst?" McGonagall said changing the subject. "That they said you were still dating Sirius!"

"Agreed. What did Severus think of that?" Professor Hooch asked.
