Ch.16

Marlee pov:
As the boys were saying their goodbyes I hide myself under their bags of clothes and food to last them three days. It wasn't very comfortable but I tried to sleep as we got on the road not wanting to reveal myself until it was too late to take me home. I finally fell asleep but after 30 minutes the bus jolted to a stop causing me to wake up. Footsteps echoed getting closer and closer. I figured we were far enough out now for them to not be able to take me back. The supply bag was torn off of me and my eyes met with the blazing ones of my boyfriend. I tried to glare back with as much intensity but he wasn't having it. "Fuck" he cursed and ran his finger through his hair. He clenched his jaw and let out a sigh. I have to admit he's kinda hot when he's mad. Focus on the mission Marlee!!

"I can't believe you." He grabs my arm and carefully pulls me to the front sitting me down beside Han who was also glaring at me along with Hyunjin and Leeknow. "You realize how dumb that was right?" I cross my arms determined to stand by my decision. "Why won't you let me help?? I can be useful!" Changbin plops down in the seat behind us and Hyunjin answers my question. "Because it's dangerous! And we care about you! Why can't you just stay home and let us protect you?" The more they said I needed protecting all I heard was *weak*. "And why can't I protect myself? Is it because I'm a girl?" The bus went silent. I could see them all contemplating on what to say but none of them wanted to dig into that hole.

"Okay enough. Shes here already and there's nothing we can do. It's too late to take her back. She wants to go? Well congratulations you're going on a supply run." The sarcasm that dripped from Leeknows words told me he was still upset but I had gotten my way. I sound like a spoiled brat right now but I won't be treated like a dumb girl. I will show them I can help. Hyunjin gave me a small smile as he wished he would have stayed quiet the whole time.

His eyes widened as all of a sudden Seungmin appeared in front of us and Leeknow and Han both groaned in annoyance. "Well isn't this just a fucking party" Hyunjin tried to control his worried look but we all could tell that this bothered him. Seungmin looked completely exausted and swayed as though he could pass out any second. "I had to jump like 9 times before I could get here. Don't worry
Chan knows I'm here. He thought you could use some help with the stowaway."

I huffed rolling my eyes. Of course he would send Seungmin. Do they ALL think I'm incapable of doing anything other than healing. Felix who had been silent the whole time at the back of the bus comes to the seat across from me to whisper something. "I think you have the right to come. If you think you can do it then we should all believe in you too. As a family we should encourage each-other." He heads back to the back and I mentally thank him for being on my side. I wonder if he knew I was here the whole time seeing as he sat in the back. I smile to myself.

Seungmin sits down to rest after Hyunjin gives him a quick kiss and returns to the wheel. Everyone goes back to looking out the windows. I peek behind the seat to see Changbin staring at me. Even though he's mad at me he still opens his arms for me to cuddle him. I lay on his chest and he intertwines our fingers. "I love you but never do that again" I know he's just looking out for me but I want him to know that I won't stop standing up for myself. I can be a strong useful member just as much as the others. I look up to meet his eyes. "I love you too, but I won't stop trying to help." He sighs realizing this conversation can only end in argument. He decides to drop it for now and we both fall asleep.

Jeongin pov:

Kenalyn and I try to muffle our giggles as a furious chan comes around the corner and we both take off running. I grab her hand and Chan yells after us. After he catches us both we sit in the living room while he decided on how to deal with us. We kept giggling not being able to take him seriously with his bright red hair. He was fuming and his angry face almost matched his new hair color. "You two are on dishes duty for a week." We both nodded seeing as this punishment wasn't the worse he could've assigned.

Spencer was also laughing from the other couch. "Aish they left me alone with a bunch of children" Spencer walks over to him and pats his shoulder. "Better get used to it. You have 9 months before sleep is nonexistent for us." He laughed and pulled her closer by her waist. "I already don't get sleep with these children it's nothing new" he kisses her slow and passionately as I make a disgusted face and gagging noise. This causes them to smirk and Chan picks her up. "OKAY IM OUT" I run up stairs to avoid the inteament moment.

At dinner the table felt so huge with not enough people to fill it. It was so quiet and empty. We all brush off the sad atmosphere by talking about the baby. "His name should definitely be chad" Spencer laughs sarcastically. "Yeah, no. My kid isn't gonna be a chad" I stick my tongue out at her she looks at me like I better not test her.

Within a moment she disappears and all of a sudden I feel something pinch my ear. "Hey no fair! You can't use your light manipulation!" She smirks and sits back down revealing herself. "I wonder what power he'll have?" We all turn to Rayleigh. "He? It's a boy? Did you have a vision" Spencer asks. "No it's just a feeling. But I hope it's a girl. We could use a little more femininity in this house. Even Ken acts like a male" Kenalyn doesn't protest instead she just shrugs agreeing with her words.

After we finished eating Ken and I start on the dishes. At first we were quietly working together but then she scoops up a handful of soap suds and dumps them over my head. I playfully glare at her "oh you're on" I grab the kitchen hose and spray her while she lets out a small shreek at the cold water. "You little asshole" she tries to take the hose from me. "You started it!" This caused an all out water fight.

"You've got to be kidding me" I drop the hose and we both stop fighting to look at Chan. We nervously smile as our clothes drip with soapy water and the floor is covered in bubbles. "I can't leave you alone for 2 seconds!!" He didn't seem angry just disappointed. "Sorry chan. It won't happen again." He crosses his arms. "Damn right it won't cuz I'm changing your punishment. You two are grounded from eachother for 3 days!"

Both of our eyes go wide. We immediately cling to each-other like children getting a toy taken away. "No! She's mine!" She giggles causing my heart to swell. "Well until you can both stop causing trouble I don't want to see you together." We both pout as Chan forces us apart. We both go to shower and sleep in our separate bedroom tonight but not before winking at each other. If he thinks he can keep us apart he's so wrong.
