''Oh yay fun'' i say 

''Come on lighten  up, the tailor is downstairs, whatever she has amazing color choices'' she says and we head downstairs into the basement and i see her

''Ah ciao my pretty so beautiful'' she says and hugs me and i smile

''Not black so what color you like pretty, i will make most beautiful ball gown'' she says and i smile

''She chose red last time, so not this year'' my mum says 

''How about blue and like it starts off royal blue and a sit gets further down it becomes lighter'' i say and she smiles

''That sounds beautiful amor, i'll start now'' she says

''Now about your mama'' she says 

''Since she's doing blue, i will have to do purple'' she says and i smile at her 

''Give me one week, i will produce most beautiful elegant gown you see'' she says and my mother pays her and she leaves

''Okay, it is time for you to start planning''

''Aren't you going to help me'' i ask my mother 

''Nope, everyone's gotta start somewhere, i'll help with catering and stuff but the venue and the rest will be up to you, trust me you'll love it'' she says

''Oh fun'' i say and she walks off 

I head upstairs to take a shower and tie my hair up and slip on some silk shorts and matching top, i grab a cup of tea and sit on my balcony and open my laptop up 

''Okay venue is relatively easy we always host in Amalfi'' 

I call the owner and she answers and i fingers cross hope she has it from two weeks from now

''Ah Lucia, your mother is the most amazing woman i know, of course, the venue is always open for you my dear two weeks now is the 27th yes?'' she asks

''Yes Mrs pomfrey'' i say and she laughs

''It is booked for 7 pm that night, the whole of italy will see you do an amazing job including my two sons, my seven year old loves your mother'' she says

''Aw, i'll come by tomorrow and say hello and make arrangements, is 9 am okay?'' i say 

''Darling for the next two weeks you can come in and out any time but not past 8 pm okay darling'' she says 

''Can i come now?'' i say

''Yes dear''  i laugh and i hang up 

''Okay venue time to go'' i say and put on some trainers and grab my notebook

''MUM DAD, I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE BUT I HAVE TO GO SEE MRS POMFREY'' I say

''OKAY'' i hear my mum yell and i jump into my car and race off towards the coast where Amalfi is 

''Ah welcome'' she says and i see the ballroom, every year i come it always looks so different, so pretty 

''So we of course always use the same tables and depending on the hostesses dress, we drape the tables with so what color are you wearing dear'' she asks

''Blue, most shades of it''

''Royal blue it is then'' she says and i nod

''Okay, two blocks from here there is a guy i know who can help you with the drapings, you can choose a color, i will deal with lights''  she says

''This feels easier than it should be, my mother usually rips her hair out'' i say walking out and heading to the shops 

''Ah Pomfrey called me, we only have two shades of blue and it's Egyptian and sapphire'' he says and i choose egyptian 

''I'll need at least 200 hundred drapings in two weeks at the venue''

''You got it'' he says and i pay him and walk back to the ball venue 

''Okay, it is better we deal with lights and catering now, your mother would always leave that for last'' she says and i laugh

After hours of working on the decorations for the ball i was on my way home when i got a call and i answered it from the Bluetooth connected to my car 

''Hey dad i'm on my way home''

''Pomfrey called and she absolutely loves you, also i got a call from my tailor and i noticed you're around the block so can you go pick it up, i need you to pick a tie too blue or purple'' he says

''Yeah sure'' i say turning my car and he hangs up and i park then walk inside

''Hello?'' i say

''Ah miss Rodriguez, your father called, the suit is just being ironed but he said something about a tie, i can show you where they are'' he says and takes me over to a table 

Purple seems best since that is what my mother is wearing and it would be better if they matched 

I picked a purple one with velvet designing and embroidery

''Ah excellent choice, i'll go ahead and pack that for you now'' he says and i turn around and bump into something... or someone

''Hmph and here i was thinking that my day couldn't get any worse''

''I heard you're hosting the ball this year, what a disaster it will be'' he says scoffing

''Hmm, how about you take your enriched cocky self back up to the tower of your ego and jump off to your IQ, hopefully you'll die and if not, you can say hello to my knife. I'll put your head on a stick and mail it back home, maybe your dad will like payback'' i say grabbing the suit and tie off the tailor and walking off

''I'd love to see you try sweetheart''

''Oh you want a demo'' i say taking the knife out of my waistband and pointing it at his stomach and he smirked

I made eye contact as he looked me up and down and i cut off the button on his shirt 

''Next time, it'll be your eye'' i say walking out

Always coming at the wrong times...
