I walked back to John's table.

"What was that about?" he asked.
"Nothing."
"Clearly it was something. Do you know him?"
"John, calm down."
"Was he hitting on you?!" he shouted.

The actor walked up to our table.

"Is there a problem, sir." Robert asked.
"You bet your arse! Hell yeah there's a problem!"

Security came and stepped between them. They escorted John, while he yelled things at Robert.

"Don't fucking talk to-" the door to the shop was closed.

He started walking away, to calm down. He used to do that a lot. He'd get all worked up and then take a walk.

I sighed putting my head in my hands. Robert sat down, where John had been.

"Anger issues. You could do better." he said.
"What, like you?"
"Well, you said it, not me." Robert winked.

"You don't need him." he whispered.
"Your right." I looked up at Robert.
"So what do you say..." he took my hands in his, "We go back to my place... Have a little wine, some scotch... maybe some Jack Daniels. Get a little tipsy, have a little fun." his smile widened.

"And... If all goes well, maybe I'll show you what a real man's like. How a real man treats a gorgeous woman like you." He lowered his voice an octave as he spoke.

"I-I don't know." I stuttered. I did know. It was just hard to say.

"You know..." He said studying me.
"You said it yourself... You don't need him." Robert reminded me.

"But, that's not what love is. Love isn't having someone who can't live without you. Love is about someone who doesn't need you in the least, but stays with you because they love you." I explained.

"Everything is about sex, but sex... Sex is about power." he said, his voice raspy.
"Are you quoting house of cards?" I asked.
"Maybe." he laughed.

"John-"
He pressed his finger to my lips.
"Lets not talk about him..."
"No, he-"
"Shhhh... You need a man. Not a child who can't handle it when someone talks to his girl."
"How would you've handled it?"
"As a complement, you could have that hot guy, but you chose me."
"Really?" I asked.

"...No, I probably would have punched him in the face." We laughed a bit.

"I have to find J-"
"Stop." he ordered. "find him? is he lost?"

"No..." I mumbled.
"He left you. He never really loved you, if he left you."

I started to tear up remembering what happened at the airport.

"This isn't the first time is it?" he asked.

I shook my head no, as tears flowed from my eyes.

"You need a real man. Come back to my place. He clearly doesn't love you... He doesn't need you either."

"I-I j-just-"
"Shh... It'll be okay."
