He took a breath.
"How I can save, my um. My original time zone" He lied, but Y/N didn't see it.

".. So,"
"I am away most them time to check on my original place, I don't fully like changing my clothes, I don't have a title since I am not meant to be here and you didn't hear anything about me since I only arrived the day of this, challenge type thing" He answered in a hushed voice

"Time travel-?" She followed the same volume, he slowly nodded. ".. How?"

"Don't leave me again" Dream's face was pressed into her head of hair, hers on his chest. 
"I won't, I promise" She replied, hugging into him tighter. The girl missed this.

"But-"
"I will never leave you, I was dumb and I shouldn't have." She interrupted his cross over, feeling his dorky smile as she said those words, but muffled due to the clothes.

"Yeah, you were" He said, getting a light hit in the chest with a laugh.
"Never mind, goodbye" Y/N joked, trying to shimmy out his grasp, which only went tougher. Companied by a whine of denial.

"I was joking. But we really can't stay here long"
"But, I am the Prince of this kingdom, we can hypothetically" He didn't let go,

"Dream," She warned, he smiled at just his name. Never thought he would hear it from her again.
"Say my name again" Dream only let go to make her look at him, she shyed down.

"Why?"
"Say it and find out."

"Rather not to be honest" Y/N said truthfully, earning a slight laugh.

"What do you think I'm going to do?" Dream held Y/N's face with his hand,

"I don't know, you are being very suspicious sir" Now Dream just laughed, having to look away,
"Sir?" He spoke,

"Yeah, what's wrong with it?"

"How does it even work?" Y/N continued to ask the time travelling man,

"It's, uh. It's complicated.." Karl shuffled nervously

"How's the future- or past.. Which way are you from?" She wavered her hands as a gesture, leaning left to right to accompany in.
"Don't think I should really tell you, it's amazing how you even saw through the magic" He spoke like he totally 'didn't' let her find out.

"Magic?" Y/N pressed, she was getting somewhere with his dismissive tendency's.

"Yeah, how else do you think that no one else knows of this?" Karl let out a laugh, loosely covering his mouth as he did.
"But how?"

"The only reason that you can is if-"

He froze, for an odd reason she had yet to find

"Dream! Come on, I wanna go back" 

"No." He said simply, "Hug me back" The person in particular that wouldn't let her leave his embrace whined.
"Please?" She had to beg for her to let go.

"I deserve this, you left me for" It took him a bit to count the days, "Four days. I had to go four days without this, so this one has to be extra long" She could hear the smile,

"I will hug you for as long as you want, just please. Let's go home" Y/N bargained,

"Wait, home?" He stopped, looking down on her as she looked up,
"Well yeah, if you'll have me"
