Happy Pill || Hyunlix

Chapter 1

Felix woke up from the sound of his maid calling from the other side of the door.

"Felix dear! Wake up! It's time to go to school!"
He groaned but quickly got out of bed to go shower. He put on his his favorite warm hoodie plus another layer on top since it was quite chilly out, and he wasn't planning on getting sick any time soon.

Felix rushed downstairs to see breakfast served on the table. Of course there was only one plate, since his parents were on a business trip. They were gone almost every month, but he knew they had to work for him.

He quickly ate up his avocado toast and hash browns and stood up.
"Felix dear! Take your anxiety medications!" His maid said in a rush handing him the bottle of pills.

He took one and then proceeded to head out, waving his hand to the two maids in the living room.
He drove his car to school as usual, and he was greeted by his best friend Jisung, at the school gate.

"Hi sunshine!" Jisung greeted, pulling the other in a hug.

"Morning Sungie, I missed you so much" Felix said still hugging the boy.

"We haven't seen each other in 2 days baby. 2 days." He chuckled.

"I know I know. It's a lot! Specially when you're parents are out for another business trip so you're home with no one but your two maids" Felix pouted.

His best friend replied with a giggle then proceeded to engulf the other in another hug. Soon after they both pulled away and walked in to their perspective classes.

Felix had arrived in English, where he was seat mates with Jeongin.

Felix's pov :

"Hey Jeongin, how was the weekend?" I asked.

"Pretty good lix, I hung out with a friend" Jeongin replied, I smirked at him.

"Friend huh" I know Jeongin enough to understand the look on his face. I could tell this wasn't just a friend.

"Hyung!!" He playfully hit me on the arm and I fake pouted, he giggled.

"Guys the teacher is about to come in, be on your best behaviors" The class president said.

I couldn't stop staring with him the whole class. I have to admit, I have a crush on him. And I have for a while now.
We're friends, not too close or anything.

After class I saw Jeongin approach him. He said something which made Seungmin giggle. I admit I was jealous, but I didn't do anything.

I brushed it off and went to meet Jisung at the cafeteria. He was sitting with my cousin, minho as usual. When he saw me, he waved gesturing to come sit with them. Which I did.

I quietly ate my lunch as the two lovebirds were acting all lovey dovey beside me. I was used to this but It's pretty tiring after some time. After eating lunch I left the two and went to the rooftop.

No one really comes up so I'm often here. Since I like it peaceful and quiet. Away from the rest of the world. Away from people who cause me stress.
Here I can be myself, I can cry and no one would hear me.

Hyunjin's pov :

"Babe!! I'll walk you to your class!!"
My girlfriend is actually really really clingy. A little too much for my liking.

"No thanks, I can go myself. You head on" It was starting to get annoying. Like really annoying. I was so close to breaking up with her.

Anyways, I walked into class with all the girls even guys looking at me. I was pretty used to the attention, not gonna lie I was pretty popular at our campus.

A few minutes after the teacher started discussing, Felix came into class.

"Mr. Lee, you're late for my class." The teacher said making everyone's attention focused on him.

"Sorry, It won't happen again I can assure you" He said to which the teacher just nodded.

Me and Felix never really used to talk. But I knew who he was. He was pretty well known for being bubbly and cute. He seemed really sweet too.
He sat on the seat in front of me, so it's pretty shocking that we aren't friends yet.

"Pst" I hissed as I tapped his shoulder. He looked back at me with a smile on his face. A smile which made my heart flutter.

I smiled back and he turned away, continuing to listen to the lecture. I kept my eyes on him the whole time. Something about him made me so fond.

Third person pov :

After class, Felix waved goodbye to all his friends including Hyunjin and headed out the door. He started driving back home when he started to feel anxious inside own car. This often happened when he was on his alone.

So he pulled over into a parking lot of an ice cream shop and decided to get ice cream while he was there.

"Uh can I have one Strawberry cup please" He told the lady in the front. And soon after he was handed his ice cream.

He decided to eat there since he didn't feel like going home yet. His parents weren't home which meant he had to stay with them maids 24/7, which gets pretty lonely.

Felix started eating the ice cream while he used his phone. Little did he know someone was watching him from a far.
It was Hyunjin.

"Yo dude who are you lookin at" Chan said. He looked at the direction Hyunjin was staring at and suddenly, he froze.

Hyunjin noticed the look on Chan's face too.
"Uh anything wrong?" He asked the older.

"It's nothing" Chan said, than proceeded to eat his ice cream.
Soon after they both stood up to head out, that's when Felix did so too.
So of course they saw each other.

"Felix! You're here too!" Hyunjin said with his little eye smile.

"Hi Hyunjin!" He smiled and waved before turning his head to see Chan beside him.

Suddenly the smile on his face dropped. But he didn't wanna be too obvious so he just nodded and left.

Actually, Chan and Felix used to be together. They were a couple for a year, before they broke up because Chan cheated on the younger.

This time was the hardest for Felix because he had to go through it all alone, with Jisung of course. But he had a boyfriend of his own. And his parents were barely home.

And that's when his Anxiety and Depression developed. He suddenly had a fear of the world. The incident made him realize that the world is unfair. But he still chose to hide is feelings. He still chose to smile, and make other happy. Because he didn't want others to feel the way he always did.
