Fina-san came back in this chapter. I was wondering what happened to her last time.

The clothing store was at the end of the street I was on so we continued forward.

On the way, I found some things like garlic and chinese cabbage*, so I bought those.

*Chinese cabbage is also called Napa cabbage, wombok, or petsai if you're more familiar with those terms. It's a cabbage, but rectangular and lighter in color.

"This is it. This place also sells ready made clothes, so let's look at those first."

"Okay."

I looked at the clothes and noticed that there were very few for little girls, just like I was told.

"Oh, how about this one?

Lina-san brought over a light blue dress. It showed off the shoulders and had white lace on the hem. I'd say it's pretty cute.

"It's good!"

"Then how about you try it on?"

This store had a fitting room at the back. They didn't really have individual rooms, just a wall separating the males from females and curtains blocking the view.

"Marina-chan, can you wear the dress by yourself?"

"Of course"

I took the dress from Lina-san and went into the fitting room to change.

"I'm still not used to this body..."

I've never taken off my clothes before and usually cleaned myself with them on.

And I finally managed to finish putting on my clothes after a bit a of struggle.

"Wait, are there mirrors here?"

<Mirrors are precious in this world>

Is that so?

<The only thing they have is polished silver>

If I remembered correctly, the mirrors commonly used in Japan and around the world had aluminum or silver plating beneath the glass surface.

<That's right. In this world, mirrors are expensive, so the surface of water is used as a substitute>

Upon hearing that, I looked around the room and saw a tub filled with water. I see... they use water as a mirror. But what's the point of having this if I can only see my face?

Anyways, I took a peek at the water.

"Hmm, it looks strange."

I'm sure my face didn't change much, but there's still something off about it.

"Are you done yet?"

I heard Lina-san's voice from behind the curtain.

"Oh, yes!"

I hurriedly opened the curtain. Lina-san was right in front of me but the moment she saw me, her eyes widened. I wonder why?

"You're so cute!"

She said and hugged me with all her might. It's painful...

"Lina-san... it hurts."

"Ah! I'm sorry... I couldn't help but hug you."

Lina-san pulled away from me a little and started to inspect me.

"Is there something wrong?"

I asked, tilting my head to the side.
