Louis’s POV

I sat on my bed reading through some twitter feed, trying to ignore the loud movements coming from Harry as he rushed around the room trying to get ready for his date. I couldn’t help but let it get to me that he was going out with Taylor on the first full day of us being in New York. I mean, he had two weeks. We should spend the day with the others, just enjoying our time in the city.

“How do I look Lou?” Harry asked me. I lazily dragged my eyes away from the screen, not really wanting to be a part of his Taylor preparations in anyway. He was dressed nice, with a beanie, scarf, long black coat, and jeans. His beanie didn’t cover too much of his curls and his green eyes shone through his brown hair, and the coat he was wearing fell nicely over his shoulders, making them look broad.

“Lou?” Harry rushed. I snapped out of it, realizing I had spaced out a bit, taking longer than necessary to tell him if he looked decent.

“Fine Haz. You’re fine.” I said, returning my gaze to my phone, as my thoughts lingered over how I had lost myself staring at my friend. I’m really out of it.

“Alright. See you later Boo Bear.” He said before hurrying out of the room, slamming the door behind him.  I let out a sigh and tried desperately to focus on the mention I had open on my phone, but I kept reading the same word over and over again. I let out a groan and threw my phone onto the bed, rubbing my face angrily.

This shouldn’t be bothering me this much. It’s just a date. Harry’s had dates with worse girls… Caroline Flack… but still, I can’t shake the feeling that this is not going to end well.

And I don’t want to see him get hurt.

I let out another sigh and stood up, walking over to the drawers I had stuffed all of my clothes into last night and pulled out some things to where and tossed them on my bed. I then made my way into the bathroom, turning the shower water on and stripping out of my clothes before stepping in, trying to let the warm water soothe me. I really shouldn’t be worrying this much. Harry can take care of himself.

After a nice long shower I felt a little better than I did before. I got dressed, straightened up the room a bit and grabbed me phone. I may as well go see what the others are up to today.

I walked out of the room, making sure my key card was in my back pocket as I did so and walked down the hall to where Liam and Niall were staying. Yeah Zayn was the lucky bitch who got the room to himself this time. Not that I minded sharing with Harry. We both obviously enjoyed each other’s company.

I knocked on the door and waited two seconds before growing impatient and unlocking the door with my key, the ones we had worked for all of our rooms, and walking in.

“Well, someone’s impatient. I was going to come and open it for you.” Liam said, straightening out the button down shirt he was wearing. I shrugged.

“Since when do I have patience?” I asked him, jumping onto his messy bed.

“Good point.” he shrugged, starting to button his shirt.

“Li? Who’s here?” I hear Niall’s voice as he came out of the bathroom shirtless, rubbing a towel through his hair. “Oh hey Lou. Where’s Harry?” he asked me. I clenched my jaw a bit and let out an involuntary eye roll.

“Date with Taylor Swift.” I groaned, sounding more bothered by it then I should have. Good job Louis. Way not to seem too annoyed.

“What?” Liam asked, looking at me slightly taken aback. I shrugged.

“Don’t know. We woke up to Harry’s phone ringing and the next thing I knew he’s running all over the room trying to spiffy himself up for the lass. Apparently they had a date set for this morning.” I explained. “Speaking of which, what time is it?” I asked, realizing Harry had never answered my question before.
