RWBY OC 1 (in use) updated

Start from the beginning

One fateful day, something went horribly wrong while conducting an experiment to stabilize the anomaly. The anomaly they believed they had under control violently expanded, consuming the lab in a burst of distorted energy. Reality seemed to unravel instantly, with time and space warping in unpredictable ways. The blast didn't just cause destruction—it erased. People, equipment, and even the data they had collected on Project Titan vanished without a trace as if they had never existed. The only thing left behind were faint echoes—strange clues and remnants that hinted at those who had once been there, but no solid evidence of their existence remained.

Kenta and Kaieato were the only two survivors, inexplicably found unconscious in the wreckage. When they awoke, they had no memory of the accident, the anomaly, the research they had been conducting, or even their roles as scientists. All they knew was that the lab was destroyed, and they had survived, though neither could explain why. They retained their vast scientific knowledge, intelligence, and skills, but the details of Project Titan were gone, replaced with a vague sense of Déjà vu and unease that would plague them in the weeks and months to follow.

Atlas authorities took the brothers into custody and interrogated them about the accident, but with no memory of the event or the research leading up to it, they were of little use. Ironwood, who had once seen them as valuable assets, now viewed them as a mystery, unsure whether they were victims or somehow complicit in the catastrophe.

In the wake of the incident, Project Titan's existence was scrubbed from all official records. Anyone involved with the project was either dead or missing, and the Cobalt brothers were kept under close watch. General Ironwood, in an uncharacteristically sympathetic move, allowed them to return to society rather than imprison them, but he kept a close eye on their activities.

Two years after the incident at Atlas, Kenta and Kaieato decided to leave Atlas' cold, militarized environment behind and move to Vale. By this time, they'd integrated well enough at Atlas Academy, but both felt that staying in Atlas only deepened the mystery and the shadows around Project Titan. The haunting flashbacks, suspicions, and surveillance made it hard to focus on their futures and their goal of finding answers. With a shared determination to start fresh, they packed up their work and moved to Vale, a kingdom where they could have more freedom and a less scrutinized environment.

In its primary form, Revolution is a lever-action rifle with a sleek, high-tech design, blending Kenta's scientific background with traditional weaponry. The rifle is highly efficient at mid-to-long range, offering precision and control. The lever-action system allows Kenta to fire .308 caliber bullets in quick succession. The internal dust chamber is highly adaptable, allowing the rifle to switch between different dust rounds (fire, ice, lightning, etc.), each infusing the bullets with elemental properties. This gives Kenta flexibility in combat, letting him adjust to different scenarios on the fly.
With a swift transformation, Revolution becomes a sword with a blade constructed from Dust, allowing it to cut through most materials easily. The sword's lightweight and energy-efficient design lets Kenta wield it with great agility, reflecting his preference for improvisation and adaptability in combat. Revolution houses a small and precise energy field generator along the spine of the blade that emits an energy field to contain the selected Dust. When active, it shapes the Dust particles into a consistent blade form stable enough for combat. Since the Dust is contained within the field, the blade can adjust in size, shape, or density, depending on the Dust type. However, to maintain control, Kenta's containment field requires careful calibration, especially when using more volatile Dust types. He must balance energy output and containment field strength to prevent the Dust blade from destabilizing mid-fight.
