As Maki walked down the roadshe couldn't help but notice the tension that was previously between the leaf village and the Uchiha clan, had faded away slightly. She was walking by Shisui, and even he seemed stunned about it.
"Brother?" He smiles down at her, holding her smaller hand in his.
"Yes, little sister?" She wouldn't say it, but a warmth surrounded her heart just like everytime he called her that.
"The Uchiha and the leaf seem to be getting along nicer, don't you think?" His eyes widen and he stares at her, mouth parted slightly.
"...You knew?" She huffs in amusement.
"I'm much wiser than you think." He smiles.
"I think I know why the tension between the clan and the village has lessened."
"Why?" He simply ruffles her hair.
"Because of You Maki." She stops.
"Because... Of me?" He nods.
"How?"
Shisui himself didn't know. All she'd done was befriend the Uchiha, and showed them there were many different citizens who didn't think poorly of them. It was crazy what even the smallest bit of kindness could do."I don't know much myself, but you're always speaking and changing our opinions. You speak as if you've experienced some stuff in the past-"
'I have.'
"-And you bring us together. Those meetups, those words, smiles, everything."
His eyes look back down at her.
"It's simply because of your existence Maki."
She'd never been so happy to exist.

Two freaking years have passed. Today is the day the Uchiha clan is supposed to be massacred. But I know the Uchiha have no hard feelings for the village anymore, or at least, not after I kept placing those scrolls and hints about Danzo and laying it on the hokage's desk.
