Chapter 21 Pt 1.

"I love you too" I smiled and pulled Korra into bed as she laughed

"Asami come on, I have my leg on I don't wanna hurt you" she chuckled and I cuddled closer to her

"It's fine, how are you awake so early? It's literally 6 am"

"I told you I need to get up early, I'm actually just about to leave, I made you some coffee though"

"Korra come on, where are you going? You never get up this early" What is this girl up to

"Sorry, I have a meeting with Lin and I need to stop by somewhere" she said placing a soft kiss on my cheek

"Okay, but come home sooner tonight, would you? Also, do you think you could talk to the leader of the community? I know you said they'll probably agree but still"

"I did just yesterday, they are okay with it, you can start moving people there today, they will have rooms and beds and everything the people need ready"

"So that's where you've been, you're awesome thank you" I smiled and hugged her

"I love you, stay safe please" I kissed her and she hugged me tightly

"I love you too, you too please" She smiled and got out of the bed then walked towards the door as I sat up and stretched

"And hey Korra?"

"Yeah?"

"Why are you walking like that?"

"I um... I bruised my leg, I ran across the whole city yesterday so"

"I should make you a new leg, a comfier one"

"That would be amazing Asami, all though I think I can make it with this one, I really have to go now" She smiled and I walked up to her and kissed her

"Take care please" I held her hands as we both smiled at each other, Korra then walked out of the room and I started to get ready...

*Korra's pov*

I should get going

I walked down the mansion getting my glider when I noticed a small piece of paper on the table, probably just some trash, or something for Asami's work, I walked up to the door ignoring the paper, but I was surprised when I saw two security guards at the door

"Is there a problem?" I asked them noticing there was a lot more guards around

"No ma'am, Miss Sato ordered us to guide the mansion" that's weird, why would Asami order extra security?

I just nodded in response and made my way out into the public.

Thankfully, it was a lot quieter today than yesterday, but crime never sleeps, damn I almost sound like Lin.

"HELP!"

I look under myself to see where is the screaming coming from and I saw a small dark alley. I flew down and jumped on the ground and I saw a man harassing a woman

"Well...Well...Well... What do we have here?" I smirked ready to kick his ass.

"Hello Avatar" he smirked and leet the woman go who quickly ran away "how nice of you to join us"

"Us?"

A group of people jumped out of nowhere from above, in front of and behind me, I was surrounded, before I even got to react, something wrapped around my fake leg and pulled me backwards, but as I was about to get up again I heard a loud crack as I turned around and saw that my leg was now completely destroyed by one of the earthbenders
