Nightmare And Comfert

Kiibos pov

I woke up to a loud scream. I ran into the guest room to find kokichi curled up in a ball sobbing.

I slowly walked up to him as to not startle him and gently pulled him into a hug. He yelped at the sudden contact.

"shhh kokichi it's ok it's just me" I said gently stoking his hair.

"mmm kiibo" he whimpered.

"what's wrong baby" I asked gently.

"I had an awful dream. Those people were trying to kill me and no matter how much I screamed and begged them to stop they wouldn't! They kept stabbing and stabbing and-"

"shhhhh it's alright now it was just a bad dream" I said rocking him back and forth soothingly.

"but what if it really happens?" he whimpered.

"it won't baby I promise" I said firmly.

"Umm could you spend the night with me?" he said shyly.

"of course! Anything to make you feel safer" I climbed into bed with him and he snuggled into me. It was kinda cute. I wrapped my arms around him and watched him fall asleep.
