"Kacchan..." He slowly started, his voice just barely shaking. "Do you...Do you not remember what happened...?!" Bakugo raised an eyebrow, confused by how petrified Midoriya sounded.

"It's prob' t'mporary, b't still." Bakugo waited for a response, but Midoriya continued to look at him, the horrified look not leaving his face despite Bakugo's assurance, if it can be called that. Bakugo frowned at the reaction, unsure as to why Midoriya was looking at him like he had murdered a stray cat and didn't know. Which he prayed he didn't, because he wasn't one to harm animals.

"I..." Midoriya started, biting his lip as he frowned, as if contemplating on what to say. "I-I think w-we should wait for y-your memories to come back themselves." Midoriya stood up, slowly starting to back away from the bed almost in fear.

"Wait, n'rd, th' he–" He didn't get to finish as the nurse stepped in, and Midoriya quickly nodded at her before rushing out of the room, not even saying goodbye to the blond. Bakugo gaped at the door Midoriya had rushed out of, unsure of why Midoriya had done so, and even a little...Hurt.

Whatever he did, he just hoped he would remember it soon, but until then, he hoped that it was just a one-time reaction from Midoriya.

It wasn't a one-time reaction.

When Bakugo was released a week later, his muscles still aching but now able to walk around without showing it much, he had went back to school. And not even once had he seen Midoriya.

Not during training, which he had skipped due to his injuries, not during lunch, and not even after school. It almost seemed like he disappeared, and Bakugo couldn't help but start to worry at the thought of Midoriya disappearing again.

Despite his ego screaming at him not to, after class was over, Bakugo walked up to his teacher.

"Mr. Aizawa?" He called out, stopping the hero from walking out of the classroom. Aizawa turned and hummed in response. "Do you know what's up with Izuku?" He just barely hesitated saying his name, it sounding strange on his tongue, but he simply decided to ignore that as Aizawa let out a sigh.

"I know he had been avoiding you for the past week, and as a matter of fact, I know why. He's alright though, just a little scared to see you right now. Don't push him." Aizawa simply stated, crossing his arms on his chest. Bakugo frowned at the casualness of his voice, even more so as he processed what he had been told.

"Why the hell would he be scared to see me?"

"It's not about you, Bakugo. It's about him. But like I said, you should talk it over with him, not me, at a later date when Midoriya recovers." Bakugo didn't say anything as Aizawa walked away, although he couldn't help but frown. Recover from what? He wondered, slowly walking out of the classroom as he pondered on his teacher's words. What happened?

He had only one idea on who to ask, and although it was a long shot, his classmate seemed to have changed ever since Bakugo had came back, or even as far as him going to the hospital because of...Something.

"Hey, Kirishima!" Bakugo called out, stopping the male in his tracks. Sero patted Kirishima's shoulder quickly before rushing away, hoping that if Kirishima was going to be yelled at, he wouldn't be around to witness the ear-rape.

Kirishima turned towards him, smiling nervously as Bakugo caught up with the red-hair. Although, despite him having red hair, what Bakugo couldn't help but feel slightly disturbed by was how it was straight and down instead of spiky and up, similarly to his. It hadn't exactly been getting on his nerves, but rather confusing him — it was strange to see someone look so different when you're used to the person's hair looking like damn hills.
