104: New Mission

Patuloy ang pag-atake ng Abyss at hindi iyon tago sa kaalaman ng mga maharlika ng Eufrata. Matagal nang alam ni Queen Beryl ang patagong pagkilos ng Abyss at nabuking nga iyon nang may nahuling mga spy sa Eufrata at Alemanya. May nakarating na namang panibagong balita na sinugod umano ang Mermayde kamakailan lang ng Abyss. They even received a letter from the Kingdom of Mermayde asking for assistance, ang hydor stone daw ang pakay ng mga ito at importanteng usapan na iyon.

The King and Queen knows the young royals are finally ready to venture. Pinatunayan lamang ng mga ito ang kanilang kakayahan nang magtagumpay sila sa Dragon Castle at naging kakampi pa nila ang Vessel. That's not easy. Hindi basta-basta lamang ang young royals, they have the potential. And the land needs them right now.

The land needs these young leaders to lead against the Abyss, to protect the stones, to protect the Kingdoms, and to protect the heart of Beryllus. Minsan nang naglaban ang Abyss at mga kaharian, nangyari na ang Grand war at malaki ang nawala sa kanila. Hindi na iyon pwedeng maulit. Kailangan nilang mauna sa mga bato, kailangan nilang maunahan ang Abyss. He needs to do something as soon as possible, and it means sending the young royals a mission to voyage.

Nasa lobby ang mga maharlika at nagpapahinga nang isang katulong ang lumapit upang magbalita. "Your royal highness, your group is being called by the King." Sabi nito kay Van at agad ding umalis.

"For what reason?" Ani Damon na natigil sa paghigop ng kape. "Is this all about the said voyage?"

Makulit namang sumagot si Damien. "Kung alam ko lang na itatanong mo e 'di sana tinanong ko."

Damon glared daggers. "Damien, don't even start. Pwede ba maging matino ka namang kausap kahit isang beses lang? Hindi 'yong palagi kang loko-loko."

Sumingit na si Van. "Where is Elysian?"

Isang babae naman ang pumasok sa lobby, ang prinsesa. "I'm here, why? Kinausap ko 'yong isa na huwag lalabas sa silid niya dahil naririto ang hari at reyna. Sa sobrang likot niya magkikita talaga sila ni Mommy." Sabi ni Elysian.

Nangunot ang noo ni Damien. "Tingin mo kaya makikinig sa'yo? Baka magulat na lang tayo nahuli na ang isang 'yon." Hindi niya pa rin makalimutan na nadamay siya sa punishment dahil sa babaeng 'yon.

Naupo si Elysian sa sofa. "I threatened her and made her sleep. It was not easy though but I had to do it the everyone's sake."

Damon scoffed. "She's not easily scared though, threats won't work."

Ngumisi si Elysian. "Yes, I know that's why I put her to sleep. At sinabi kong hindi siya makakasama sa voyage kapag hindi siya sumunod."

Agad namang sumingit si Damien. "Isasama natin siya? For real? Hindi pa ba kayo nadala sa nangyari?"

"We don't have a choice. I mean, it's the better choice. Tingin mo ano'ng mangyayari kapag iniwan natin siya dito? She might cause trouble. Wala siyang ala-ala pero lumaki siya sa Abyss at natural sa kaniya ang lumikha ng gulo. Pwedeng pwede pang sumugod iyong Archduke anytime na wala tayo rito. At mabubuking pa tayo na tayo ang rason kung bakit siya nandito. Hindi ba?" Sagot ni Elysian.

"Hindi ba delikado kung isasama natin siya?" Damon asked. "She might get in our way. Katulad nga ng sinabi ni Damien, hindi pa ba tayo natuto? The guilt was on us when something happened."

"Mas delikado kung iiwan natin siya. Imagine her doing crazy things here. And knowing her, sigurado akong hindi siya matatakot sa Hari at Reyna magpakita ng kapasawayan niya." Elysian responded atsaka tumayo. "Saka na natin 'yan pag-usapan. For now, let's go." Sabi nito at nauna nang pumunta sa throne room kung saan sila pinapapunta.

Mabilis na sumunod ang iba at mabilis din silang nakarating sa lugar. Masyadong seryoso ang Hari at Reyna, even the high echelons sitting in their own seats at the side were dead serious kaya hindi sila makangiti habang bumabati. At that time, they knew exactly what's about to happen. They knew what the talk is all about. Their instinct tells them, and the Highest Sovereigns' faces says it all.

"My dear royals, time flies so fast indeed and you're not kids anymore." The Queen greeted.

Everyone bowed to give respect. "Greetings, your majesties, the King and Queen."

The Queen sighed. "Hindi na namin ito patatagalin pa. You were successful on your last mission in the Dragon Castle and we are so proud of you all. I believe you are now ready to voyage since you're all in the right age. We couldn't send you before because some of you were still minors, we can't risk anything yet. But now, you have proven your strengths, your abilities and skills, your worth and power in this voyage. And all we have is faith in each and everyone of you."

Ang Hari naman ang nagsalita. "To prevent the enemies from taking the throne from the heart of Beryllus, we must find the stones first to keep it safe. Alam kong alam niyo nang ang mga bato ang pakay ng Abyss. The abyss is now moving. We've heard that they're looking for the hydor stone. You must stop them before they collect it. Meaning, you need to voyage at the Mermayde. Help the land and keep the stone safe."

The Queen spoke. "Let me remind you again about the five mythical stones that represents the seven known historical Kingdoms, the seven Kingdoms presents the abilities of their people. One from Eufrata, Alemanya, Fatum, and Mermayde. The stones from Fliogan continent were joint as a whole, therefore, there is only one stone that represents the three Kingdoms; Macedon, Beryllion and Patram. So overall, there are five stones. The twelve precious stones were combined and therefore became one stone only, it was hidden somewhere in the Kingdom of Eufrata as it represents its people with Peculiar Abilities. The precious stone is on us, you don't have to worry about it."

Nagpatuloy ang Reyna. "The elemental stone was placed in the Dragon Castle, Kingdom of Alemanya. It represents the people blessed with elemental abilities. The triumvirate stone; joining the periapts of Macedon, Beryllion, and Patram together, it became one and was called Triumvirate stone. The sword stone was kept in the Kingdom of Fatum. It represents the Kingdom and people that uses physical strengths and focuses on abilities than magic."

"Now, the hydor stone was placed in the border of Northern Iceousland and Mermayde, presenting the people who holds a control of water. They're now being attacked and they called for help. The hydor stone is your first mission." The Queen said. "When put together, the stones will generate an eternal power. And whoever uses it, the first one to use it will have an everlasting life in the land. He or she will become immortal. The Mythical Periapts will be awakened by the blood of darkness, and could only be destroyed by the blood of light. That's what the abyss is after. Because if they have the eternal power, they'll rule forever."

Namuo ang tensyon sa hall, tila nabagsakan ng malaking responsibilidad ang mga maharlika. If they're one with weak mindset and fragile hearts, they'd back out. But for the land of Beryllus, they'll do everything.

"So royals, I am asking you. Do you want this mission? We're not underestimating you, sadyang hindi lang ito madali. At bilang mga magulang, hindi rin madali sa aming bitawan kayo. Ngunit nasa inyo ang desisyon at narito kami upang sumuporta." Makahulugang sabi ng Reyna. "Now I'm asking you again. Are you willing to do this mission? Will you voyage for the land of Beryllus?"
