When someone mentions or discusses about "losing a loved one", she could never understand what they mean. She wanted to understand how everything and everyone worked. She wished for that one thing to happen, and... it came true. It came true at the worst years of her life. It was shocking, to say the least.

When attending her bestfriend's funeral, she couldn't even look at the grave. She regretted all the time she wasted, all the times she insulted her friend, all the times they both fought, and just everything. She felt like it was her fault. She wished for the death of a loved one. All because she wanted to understand.

Everything around her felt empty. Not the kind of empty where there is nothing. It's the kind of empty you feel when you know it's your fault. All the blame was pointed to her. She is the suspect, that wished for her beloved friend's death.

Her chest felt heavy, as if she was suffocating. Her tongue went dry, as soon as she finished drinking. Everything around her just felt like a blur. It was a cycle of torment for her. She was practically dying inside and out.

Her bestfriend's death took a toll on her perspective. You don't need to understand everything, ignorance is bliss. That statement was indeed correct. Not knowing was convinient, but only when you're young. Sadly, as you get older, you can't be like that.

And how fast time passes. It only feels like yesterday she could hear her friend's voice. The person that shaped her into who she was, is gone. All those memories will forever torment her, until the day she dies.

Atleast, she doesn't forget who they were.
