Jackson stayed next to me and I kept thinking if I want to ask what I have on my mind.

"Jackson?"

"Yes Colton?"

I hesitated.

Jackson smiled and said "I'd love to watch you play football" I smiled from ear to ear and Jackson leaned in and kissed my cheek.

"Fields!! Get your ass over here!!" My coach yelled to me. Coach Williams always calls us by our last name.

I run over to coach Williams. "Yes coach?"

"You know what football is son?" He started yelling.

"Yes sir."

"Well apparently you don't if you can't even get the damn ball into the end field! Fields get your shit together or I'll assume you use all your time practicing ballet!!" I didn't know what to say but "yes coach."

"Get your ass out there! And Dave watch your quarterbacks ass!! You're a team!" Dave is my receiver while I'm the quarterback.

We lined up at the 30 yard line and got ready.

I looked up into the crowd and easily pointed out Jackson who sat there with a couple girls and gay guys that are honestly open about it. And for some reason I was jealous.

I focused my mind on the game and I played like never before.

"That's it fields!!!" I could hear my coach yelling.

My team won the game and I was the one who led them to victory.
