Chapter 12: Monster

  Let me start this with a blow.

Akari was in awe,

The sudden appearance of his flames,

In that absolute brilliance, is something she really did look forward too.

To the point that when she saw him walking down the hall. She didn't thought twice of hugging him,

"What...?" The boy was taken a back, his hands not knowing what to do. So, he settled it on her back, patting her back, in an awkward manner.

After a few minutes, Akari pulled back and look at him with spark in her brown hues. "Your flames were very brilliant and...and... Just Wonderful!" Akari admired, imitating his moves earlier in the match.

She then places her hand on her chin, "I wonder if you can mix them though?" She mutters to her self.

Todoroki chuckles, patting her head "We'll see in the future" Before shoving his hands down his pants pocket.

Akari looked at him with ✨Confusion✨

"Are you really Todoroki Shouto? Are you sure you aren't possessed?" She covers her mouth in an intriguing manner.

The half haired boy, looks back at her with complete concern "Am.... I?" tilting his head a little.

Then, Akari finally that Todoroki, was in fact, half naked. Quite literally.

Heat rushes through her cheeks "Hazumi, are you okay? You look very red. Do you perhaps have a fever" A hand was placed on her forehead.

The girl started flailing her hand "No! I'm okay! It's... just that you quite literally half naked" she shyly says, looking in another direction and busying her self.

Todoroki chuckles again, "Is that so? You seem to like it though?" He teases, At that point Akari took Todoroki's arm that was placed on her forehead.

Twisting it a little and slamming him down. Air rushed out of Todoroki's lungs, As Akari went off after doing damage.

Her ears practically smoking from embarrassment.

A few minutes of being in the stands, gulping down on some iced matcha latte. She watched the match between Bakugou and Kirishima.

One thing ran through Akari's mind as she watched Bakugou's every move.

Take him down, to his right place.

She sent her glares down to the arena. And Bakugou knew he was being glared at.

And there it was....

The top four for the year's sports festival.

And it was set up like this.

Iida vs Todoroki, and...

Bakugou vs Akari.

And Akari being the only girl in the top four made the crowd root for her.

Todoroki and Iida's match went up first.

The two being related to a hero made the crowd hype.

Iida used his speed in advantage. Todoroki cornering him with two average height walls.

And finally with one in the middle, Although, Iida leaped to avoid being hit. Landing a direct hit on poor Todoroki's head.

But quickly recovered and struck ice on the supposed landing ground.

Iida switched their places and dragged him to the end.

But Todoroki, ever so sneakily, snuck ice in his mufflers, then finally immobilizing him in the near end.

"IIDA IS IMMOBILIZED! TODOROKI ADVANCES TO THE FINALS!" Midnight announces, raising her whip pointing to Todoroki.

And it was time,

Akari had left her matcha latte in the waiting room for later. Stepping in the concrete floor of the stadium.

She looked Bakugou in the eye, with a stoic face.

"Hey, Bakugou. You're cool and all, but..."

"START!" Present mic announces,

As Akari makes her first move by creating smokescreen.

Bakugou was wary, he knew that Akari can come from any direction.

And his best solution is to blast in a certain time and different directions.

It didn't seemed to make progress for the first few ones, until he had heard a soft groan.

"THERE YOU ARE!" He yells firing behind him,

A laugh then comes from the other side, and in his ear he hears; "I got ya didn't I?"

Feeling the ground below him rise. He was above the smoke all of a sudden.

Akari boosted her self up and kicked him off the high perch he was in.

He landed quite Harshly. "That was for Uraraka!" She mouths, her hands zaps,

Only then did Bakugou felt the cold surface he was in, the smokescreen disappearing made it very clear too

He realized. All this time he was playing on her palms.

The ice begun to melt. He blasted away a good meter thick ice, finally meeting with cement. Bakugou contemplated doing so,

Because then, a whole pool of water poured down.

Followed by a small volt of electricity that knocked him out.

Akari placed a hand on her hips, smirking and looking at him with snark.

"A....AKARI WINS! SHE MOVES ON TO THE FINALS!" Midnight finalizes,

'What terrifying power....' She thought looking at the fleeting figure of the brown haired girl.

The crowd begun to make ruckus, cheering her name and applauding.

When she reached the waiting room, she saw a cup of hot chocolate waiting

Along with a little note,

'Good job :) Here's a nice cup of choco to warm you up'

She knew exactly where it came from and that is a little thing she kept on her own.

Finally, she went back to the stands. Calming her self on the way, gulping on the nice cup of chocolate.

It heated up her cold body, one of the effects of using her first quirk.

"Today, I'm going to let them know how it is to be a monster" She laughs on her own.

But then regretting it cuz she stubbed her foot on a nearby wall, since she wasn't paying attention.....

"FUCK THAT HURTS!" She cursed..... 😓
