"Hey can I get a vodka" I scream over the loud pumping music and I watch as the bartender turns to me smiling before he hands me a drink
"What's a pretty lady like you doing out here?" he asks and I smile
"Being an angel" I say smirking and the guy laughs
"You do look like a fucking angel" he whispers leaning over the bar to press his lips near mine
"You don't even know how fucking right you are" I say before smiling and turning away towards the dancing crowd where I start moving my hips to the rhythm of the beat before I feel someone bump into me and I spill my drink on myself as I go to turn around the give the person a piece of my mind what I'm meant with is a red haired girl looking around my age.
"I'm so sorry" she drags out "Please let me help you get cleaned up" she cries and I smile
"It's alright" I whisper but she grabs my hand
"Really I insist" she says and I nod before walking into the bathroom with her I rush over to the sink to dab water on my stain
"I really am sorry" she states and I smile
"It's ok." I say and I watch as she checks me up and down in the mirror
"Do I look familiar to you?" she asks and I laugh meeting her eye through the mirror
"Do you go to my college or something?" I ask and she shakes her head planting a smile on her face
"Sorry I guess you just look familiar to me" she says and I smile "So what are you doing here tonight?" the woman asks
"I just finished my first semester of college my friends and I are celebrating" I say and she nods
"Oh how silly of me, I'm Jessica by the way" she says and I smile
"I'm Meghan Stackhouse" I say
"Um this is going to sound weird but do you mind if my friend here takes a picture of you?" she asks and I tilt my head in confusion before I see an older lady wearing pumps walk through
"I'm Pam" she states and I smile
"Meghan" I reply but then I watch as she holds up a phone and Jessica throws her hands over my shoulder as if we were best friends before I see the flash of a camera and then they both disappear into thin air I rush outside and see my friends sitting by themselves
"I think I just saw my first vampires" I say smiling and they laugh
"No fucking way" my best friend Ruby says. Later that night we catch a taxi home and I spot Alcide sitting in the living room
"Hey" I say as I enter the room
"Hey really? Look at the time" he cries and I smirk
"You're fucking my sister but you ain't my dad" I say and he gasps in surprise from my bluntness
"Megs I swear to god" he says and I laugh as I make my way up the stairs. When I finally fall asleep I picture blood and a woman walking out of it and I sigh as I wake up. I've had that same dream 3 nights in a row.
Let's start the voices whisper and I walk up to see the voices standing outside
"Alright what were we up to?" I ask smiling
Move it they say and I look over at the can we've been working with
"Alright lets go" I say as I stare at the can long enough before sending it floating above the ground
good now throw it they whisper and I flick my hand quickly and I watch as the can goes flying across the outside
"I think I'm done" I say and they nod
"So what else can I manipulate?" I ask
Anything if you put your mind to it focus on this flame they say as I watch as a flame appears out of nowhere
turn it they whisper as it heads towards me and I hold my hands up feeling the fire coming closer to me and I scream as I see it coming straight towards me before flicking my wrist and watching as the flames split in two and I sigh in relief
Good child they praise but then I feel as is somethings watching me
"Megs inside time to eat" Alcide cries and I turn to smile at him before quickly running inside
