Burning Down the House

"Yeah! You better run! It's like pouring boiling water on fire ants! Woo!" I hear the woman cry from above us and I watch as Bill and Eric start fighting 

"Eric!" I cry and I watch as he throws Bill across the room 

"Not for me." I hear Bill cry as he shoots Eric in the chest and he drops to the floor and I watch as Bill goes to take another shot and I jump in front of him 

"Silver. Bill, please don't." I cry but then I shoved out the way by Eric 

"Don't let her control you. Fight her!" I cry but I watch as Eric throws Bill to the floor again and he goes to grab broken wood 

"Meghan, go!" Bill screams as Eric lunges at him 

No more, no more, no more 

"No more!" I cry and I watch as I light flings out of my hands and into Erics chest and he moves back slightly confused 

"What have I done?" I whisper as I see the recognition on Erics face but then I watch as Bill grabs Eric by the throat  

"Bill! I think he might be..." I whisper but Eric grabs Bills hand 

"Get off me." he growls and Bill quickly lets go before all three of us stare up at Marine and she chants something before disappearing 

"We have to help these poor people. Bill, image. Everybody stay calm. The fire department and EMT's are on the way." the image vampire says as she walks around and I watch as Bill follows 

What did you do I ask 

We told you, you are more powerful then you know, you just need to know how to use us they reply 

What did you do to him? I ask 

Found a lost soul and returned it 

and when I look back up at Eric he's staring right at me and I take a step back feeling my heart break in two. I lost the loving and caring Eric and the mean one stood in his place once more. A few hours later Eric and I were sitting in a waiting room waiting for Bill 

"I remember everything. Us. Nothing's changed." Eric says breaking the silence 

"Except you." I whisper holding back tears 

"I haven't changed. I'm just more. The other Eric is still here." he whispers and I sigh  "Megs.  Look at me. Can't you see him in my eyes?" Eric whispers as he tilts my chin up until I forced to look at him 

"Yes." I whisper 

"So what's the problem?" he asks 

"I don't know I'm trying to figure out how to use my abilities and I can't imagine having to deal with this as well" I whisper 

"You gave yourself to me completely. You are mine." he growls 

"I never promised that." I whisper  "And you gave yourself to me completely." I reply 

"Yes, I did. I love you." he whispers but then I hear Pam enter 

"Bill called me. Are you back? Is it you?" she cries 

"Yes, I'm back." he says getting up and walking over to her 

"My God, I missed you. That fuckin' sorceress, I thought I'd lost you forever. How did you get her to break the curse?" she asks 

"Well, she didn't. Meghan did." Eric replies sadly 

"Not me the voices" I say and he looks over at me with a blank face

"Why didn't you summon me the second you were free?" she cries 

"Hey. We'll talk about it later." Eric replies before walking out the room when I walk out I look up at Bill 

"Blowing up MoonGoddess?" I cry overhearing Bill 

"Bill, you can't do this. Tara and other humans are in there." I hiss 

"Well, they bet on the wrong horse. It's too bad." Eric says walking into the room. The next day I'm sitting at the table with Jason 

"Why are you lookin' at me funny?" he asks 

"I'm just wondering why you don't have more sympathy for poor Hoyt." I say 

"I got more sympathy for that boy than anybody else in the entire world.  But he's either cryin' or rantin' and ravin'... Or telling me somethin' he's told me 500 times already. He won't stop talkin' about Jessica. Then he drank 11 of my beers. Passed out and started fartin', continuously. So, can I stay here tonight or not?" Jason asks and I sigh 

"I need your help. Bill wants to blow up MoonGoddess Emporium, and Tara's in there." I whisper 

"Well, he can't do that. What the fuck for?" Jason says stopping eating 

"Cause of what happened at the Dorchester." I reply 

"What happened?" he whispers and I explain before we go to Lafayettes house 

"This shit is ridiculous. Vampires are gonna bomb Shreveport? They can't glamour the whole fuckin' city." Laf cries 

"Yeah, they can. It's what they did to everybody last night at the hotel. We're the only humans who know what went on." I reply and I watch as Lafayette grabs the phone before swearing and thats how we end up in front of the store hiding behind Jasons truck 

"Don't know about you guys, but this place gives me the creeps... And where is everybody? I feel some bad juju ." Laf says and I nod agreeing 

"A repelling spell." Laf says 

"Hey, who's in there?" Jason asks 

"Bunch of people. Hard to tell 'em apart." I whisper but then I watch as Lafs boyfriend walks towards the door and Laf grabs him 

"All right, guys. You know what? I'll go." Jason says and I growl 

"No, Jason." I cry  

"Why not? I'm the law. And I can lie. I can fight. I can run like the fuckin' wind." Jason says and I sigh 

"But you aren't magic." I whisper 

"Careful, man. Cuidate, baby." Laf shouts as his boyfriend starts walking towards the door but I watch as a wall of light has him falling to the floor and i feel myself go to move but I'm dragged back my Jason and I see people peaking through the window

"Shit" I whisper  "Get down." I say as I see a woman that stepped out to see Laf's boyfriend

"This is incredible. What power?" He asks her

"It's a simple protection spell." she replies "Where have you been? We needed you." she says placing her hands on her hips 

"Mexico. It was an emergency. My grandfather's very sick. I'm so sorry. I should have told you before I left, but... I came back as soon as I could." he says 

"Marnie trusts you." she replies 

"Tell me what I have to do." he states 

"Come to me." she says 

" Through the wall? Antonia." he says with wide eyes 

"We have enough weak links in our circle. If you can't do it... I have no use for you." she says and I watch as he steps into the wall and the light explodes around him but he forces himself through the wall 

"Welcome back." Marnie says as she walks out finally smiling and I watch as they both walk back into the shop. 

He wants to talk to you the voices say and I nod 

Megs, the game has changed. Shit. Marnie is behind this now. Jesuses voice comes through 

"What? Did that bitch do somethin' to him?" Laf asks 

"Marnie's flipped sides. She's runnin' the show." I hiss 

Run, run Jesuses voice says and I watch as Tara runs out and I can't stop my feet as I run towards her but then wall comes up and then its as if we disappear
