Lexa was the first to break the silence that kept going since the start of the lunch "We need to talk about what happened yesterday" Clarke almost choked on her food, not expecting that topic to come up so soon "What almost happened, you stepped back" she kept her eyes locked on the plate as she kept eating.
"Yeah almost. I don't want things to be weird between us Clarke, nothing is going to happen because I have a girlfriend" Her voice was firm and didn't show any emotion, was this Lexa Woods's famous stoic mask? The emotionless face she used while she was at work. This was new, the brunette never used it with Clarke before. Sure they had met only 3 times but she had always been friendly and flirty.
Clarke simply nodded, pushing away those thoughts "No. There's nothing between us, I have a girlfriend too you know?" and she's you. She wanted to say it, she wanted to see her reaction, she wanted to kiss her. She wanted to kiss her so bad.
"Then what was that moment we had last night?" Lexa's tone hadn't changed "Alcohol's fault" Clarke answered without thinking and Lexa shook her head taking a bite of her lunch "You didn't drink, that was the whole point of our meeting" the blonde sighed, saying nothing in return.
