After the flight, we both entered the black SUV waiting for us and went to the hotel.
As it was night and I was severely jet lagged, I was out like a light the moment I sat on the bed.
The next morning
I was peacefully sleeping when a heavenly smell entered my nostrils. I got up from bed looking half dead and with closed eyes still half asleep, went to the bathroom. What can I say, I'm definitely not a morning person. Getting freshed up, I followed the smell to the ensuite kitchen where I looked at the table with a look of longing.
There sat beautiful sandwiches and a beautiful cup of hot coffee waiting to be devoured by me.

I think they knew I was coming cause their smell just suddenly intensified and I think I drooled a bit too.
What? That's the best breakfast okay? And I might be, by some chance, a bit of a foodie. Okay don't judge okay. Yes I love food. Its my one true love.
I think papá sensed my drooling because he turned around to face me.
"Good morning estrellita."
"Wow! A good morning indeed papá. Is that for me?" I asked poining at that heaven on earth while practically bouncing on my feet.
"Yup, thought of making breakfast for you." Papá said with a light laugh.
"Aww thanks so much papá. I love you!" I said and later realized what I just said by the look of shock on his face.
"I-I meant I l-love i-it. Yeah I meant that." Shit, I just made it awkward. And why the hell did I stutter. God knows what he'll think of me now.
But then papá had the biggest grin ever on his face and said "I love you too mi estrella. So so much."
I couldn't do anything but smile and hug him tightly.
You might be wondering how can I love someone in just 4 days. Well I am a good judge of character, see the good in people and I guess, just felt safe with him.
