What just happened?
It was around nine when Andi finally arrived home. You were in your room pacing, clothes scattered all over the floor. You didn't even hear your door open to a confused looking girl.
"Hey (y/n/n)'s." Her face fell when she saw your panicked state and the mess of your room. "What's going on in here? Looks like a tornado hit only this one room and left." She carefully walked over to your bed and sat down in the one spot clear of clothing.
"I'm going to New York. I'm leaving tomorrow." Your pacing hasn't stopped. It's increased.
"Um okay. Is this a nervous breakdown from losing your job? Why are you going to New York and why am I just now finding out?"
Your best friend went from confusion to concern. You decided to halt and take a deep breath. "No. Tom asked me to come. Because I just found out."
Her face went straight back to confusion. "Tom asked you to go to New York? Why? You've never hung out with him since California. Why now?"
