Camila shook, gripping the grey sheets beneath her with furrowed painful brows jerking in her bad dream as the terrifying demons crept into her previously blissful sleep, prominent faces and faded voices bounding around her mind as her legs tangled between the covers beside her girlfriend, Lauren was a deep sleeper, she never really woke but had somehow gained a skill she didn't realise she had needed..
"Stop! Stop please!"
Camila sobbed within her slumber and almost instantly Lauren's eyes sprung open.. her voice, her cries.. no matter how quiet they'd always wake her, rattle her from within her bliss to jump to aid, Camila jerked, a real tear falling over her cheek forcing the elder to sit running a silky thumb across her forehead trying not to wake her too quickly
"Mmm stop! Come back!"
She panted as if looking for someone.. chasing someone Lauren knew already of the identity.. the girl had been having the same dreams for a few days now, her father standing too far too touch before eventually walking away.. she'd shout and call for him, beg him to return but every time he would leave.. he could never see nor hear her.. she began to grip harder into the sheets forcing her knuckles white as Lauren bent her head to press her lips into her cheek holding them there while her soft fingertips traced circles around shoulder
"Camz, baby you're ok! It's just a dream!"
Lauren mumbled still admittedly half asleep as she tried best to calmly soothe her girlfriends panicked nightmare, her eyes closed gently pressing warm kisses into her blush cheek using her circling fingers to now firmly rub at the back of her neck, she knew best never to wake someone in a nightmare abruptly so only took her time as the girls squirms began to slow
"I'm right here, it's ok!"
She laid back down into the pillow this time on her back as she pulled the girl over her chest with tightly wrapping arms, the pain in her veins soaring as she felt the pace of the girls heart against her body, hard pounding at a million miles per hour evident of her intense the terrors had became, she lift her fingertips into her hair massaging her head realising it to instantly pull her from the worry as she relaxed whole heartedly into her dazed stature
"You got it bubby, I'm right here"
Camila's heart began to slow, her fingertips loosening as she ran her arm up to hook around the elders shoulder, the subtle cool down from the terror a success as she remained in her sleep hopefully deep enough not to wake exhausted and traumatised.. Lauren never really remembered the interactions come morning as all was acted within a half asleep husk..
A few hours later and the alarm rang out within the room, the school day ahead one the younger hadn't exactly been looking forwards too given the relaxing week of bliss, she sat scratching at her eyes noticing the elder still to be deep in sleep, she still had another day off much to the Youngers disappointment which only led her to leave the woman sleeping while she sorted out the babies
"Mimi I don't like it!"
"Colton you have to eat breakfast Papi I'm sorry! Look, Parker's being a good boy eating his?"
"I don't want it!"
He sobbed in a stressed rant slamming his tiny hand down into his high chair table forcing the younger to sigh back in a stress to shove the bowl back into his gaze, the angry eyes and tantruming taunt continuing while the elders tied their shoes and fixed up their bags
"I'm not arguing with you niño! You're eating it and that's it!"
"NO! NO! NO! NO!"
"Ai! Colton Frankie Cabello! I know you are not yelling at 7 in the morning!"
