Chapter 9

*7 years later*

Rileigh P.O.V

"Happy Birthday baby boy" I said pulling Winter into a hug which he returned with some reluctance

"Mommm" he groaned "I'm not a little kid anymore you can stop calling me 'baby boy'" I couldn't help but chuckle

"You may be 13 not but no matter how old you get you will always be my baby boy" I smiled

"She's right ya know you'll always be our baby boy no matter how old you are" Jack smiled walking into the kitchen "just like Ella and little miss Rosalee will always be our baby girls" he said placing his hand on my big belly I'm currently 9 months along with our 3rd and final baby due any day now

"She's kicking" I smiled

"I know" he said kissing my cheek spinning me around to kiss my lips

"You guys are gross" Winter groaned "I'm going to school" he said walking out of the kitchen

"I love you Winter have a good day!" I yelled after him

"I love you too mom!" He yelled back

"Jack, I'm scared" I whispered rubbing my belly

"Why baby girl?" He asked sadly knowing damn well what I was about to say

"What if I die?" I asked "what if I have to leave all this behind... leave YOU behind?"

"Rileigh you will be alright don't you dare think like that" he said placing his hands on my cheeks forcing me to look at him "and if god forbid the worst does happen we will be alright I promise I will make sure our three beautiful babies are taken care of, and I promise you that I will be ok"

"Jack if something does happen to me I want you to move on... don't dwell on me for the rest of your life I want you to be happy" I smiled sadly

"Rileigh Marie Metzger, I have loved you since we were 8 years old I'll be damned if I'm gonna move on from you" he sighed "you are my one true love I could never love someone else as much as I love you, it wouldn't be fair to that other person for me to even attempt to give them the same love I give you because nobody will ever compare to you"

"Jack, promise me you won't dwell on me forever" I sighed

"I promise" he whispered tears welling up in his eyes as he pulled me in for a kiss

Jack P.O.V

Our baby girl was born today, she shares a birthday with he big brother and he couldn't be more thrilled... not. As much as I want to be excited about Rosalee my heart is on fire the doctors are doing everything to make sure Rileigh stays alive , her heart rate plummeted same as it did when Ella was born

"Jack, Jack?" I felt someone shaking my shoulder I looked up to see Adam standing in front of me with a grim look in his face

"I just want her to be alright" I sighed putting my head in my hands tears still flowing non stop

"I know Jack I know" he sighed pulling me into a hug "they're doing everything they can"

Suddenly the doctor came through the door into the waiting room I looked up he walked towards me slowly

"Jack Metzger?" He asked
