Shoyo this is too scary just finish the match already! She begged telepathically
Hinata shuddered on the court ahead, not because of the sweat trailing down his back but because he heard her loud and clear as she heard him loudly too.
He sighed Just for you! I'll finish this even though it's so much fun!
Do it! She said back Please... she added politely
Back on the court Yamamoto dropped to his knees and dug the ball as best as he could sending it immediately back toward Karasuno. Tanaka jumped for the direct hit.
I'm ending this now! Tanaka yelled internally
Go, Tanaka!
Kenma and Lev jumped to block the ball in panic, as they jumped haphazardly Lev's weight threw off Kenma as the dyed blond setter fell to the floor.
"ACKK KENMA-SAN!!" Lev screamed in worry
"IDIOT!! FORGET ME!! THE BALL HASN'T HIT THE FLOOR YET!!" Kenma screamed back in such a commanding voice
I hurt... Kenma thought I'm exhausted... I don't ever want this to end.
Kageyama dove for the ball falling toward the end line, Nishinoya dived ahead of him to dig it. Asahi lunged forward and sent it toward the net as best as he could. Yaku knelt forward and sent the ball back above the belt of the net.
Here it is! Hinata shouted in his mind
Yes! Do it! A cute voice shouted back echoing around his brain
Don't gotta tell me twice!
Hinata bent his knees and sprung high above the net to go direct on the attack. He smacked the ball hitting Lev's right hand who happened to get there just in time, as the ball dropped back Daichi stretched to save it and sent it over the net. Kenma dove forward and bumped the ball straight up where Kai would get the second touch, and then finally Yaku to get the ball over.
"FREE BALL!!" Karasuno shouted from the sidelines
Kageyama jumped to toss the ball and sent it to Tanaka
Aw man I wanted the toss! Hinata grumbled under his breath as he ran forward
Tanaka watched the ball and watched the line

The ball floated high in the air soaring perfectly to the setter's position where Kenma waited to toss the ball, he calculated in his head the best possible course of action. He had been there before in that moment with Karasuno. They had all been there before, the first practice match during the Golden Week, the many practice matches during the summer training camp, every time they had been there, where Kenma was waiting at the front seeing an A pass being sent directly to him for his convenience where he had skilled players ready to hit his toss, Yamamoto his trusted friend and ace who could hit any toss and make it through, Lev who was finally in sync with his articulate tosses.
