My POV
It's Saturday, which means it's gonna be a stressful day at work. I set things up and prepare the shop. He's still not here, he's always late, I guess that's something we have in common. But still, it doesn't make it right. I sometimes have to work after my shift has ended, because of him. It's not fair.

I figured since his father owns the shop, it would be fine, but it doesn't make it right. Specially today, we're gonna have lots of costumers, I need extra help.
I can feel myself getting more mad.

Time skip

Oh my.. he still isn't here. I can't keep up, only more and more costumers are coming.
"Excuse me, where can I find the—"
"Hello, I'm in a rush could you please help me with-"

everyone is in a rush, and wants help. I can't help them AND sit at the cashier at the same time. It's too many people here.
"Excuse me—"
"I'm sorry, I will get back to you just give me a minute" I say nervously.
I go to the wardrobe hoping to find his number, but what's his name? Oh my god.. I can't think straight. I feel dizzy...overwhelmed.

As I try to open drawers I accidentally bump into a large package with groceries. It falls down, making a big mess.

That's it.

I have had enough, this is all because of him. I can feel myself getting hot and red. I was about to explode. "Calm down, calm down" I kept saying to myself.
"Calm dow—" I hear him come in.
We make eye contact.
"What .. happened here—"
"YOU, YOU HAPPENED" I yell at him.

"Woah calm down, I'm sorry I'm late it's just that—"
"NO YOU ALWAYS MAKE EXCUSES"

I felt my eyes watering, I was so stressed.
He just stood there.

I turn around, trying to fix and clean the mess I made.

"Let me help—"
"NO" I snap back at him.
I didn't want him near me, the least he could do is disappear right now.
"Go to the desk, people are waiting" I calmly say.
He says nothing, just walks out.

Time skip
Our shift was finally over. We didn't look or talk to each other the whole day. Just when things started to go alright between us, he had to screw things up.

I swear if I didn't need the job, I would quit. Being around him makes me mentally tired.
Sometimes he's fun to be around, but mostly annoying. What's the point...

We were both cleaning up before going home.
"I'm sorry" he randomly says.
Not gonna lie, the look he had in his face was cute. He genuinely looked sorry, am I being too hard on him?

No..no, your not. He isn't taking his job seriously. Just because his father owns the shop doesn't mean he could do whatever he wants to. He's 21, he should take responsibility.

"A sorry won't fix anything. You actually being on time will" I say.
"I know.."
it gets quiet. I continue cleaning.
"You won't mention anything to my father though, right?"
Haven't thought about that.. that's actually a good idea, but I won't.. he has been kind enough to give me a ride home every shift. I hate the bus, and him too, but I would rather have him take me home then take the bus at night.

"I won't.. on one condition" I say as I point a finger at him.
He raises one eyebrow "Yeah?"
"You have to give me a ride home every shift from now on"
"Haven't I already though?" He says.
"Um, yes, but you have to continue"
"Why, are you scared to go alone?"
"No.."

"You are..." He says laughing.

It's not funny, it really isn't.

"Well, how do you know you're safe with me? I could easily kidnap you"
This really isn't funny, I want to leave.
I sigh "Can we go home now?"
He smiles "Yes, as you wish."

He drops me off.
"Thanks for the ride" I say while getting out.

As I'm walking out, he rolls the passenger seat window down.

"I'm happy you feel safe with me, y/n" He smiles and then leaves.

That's cute...
