"NOOOO! Don't leave yet"

Mei was not pleased as her friends time in her village was up.

"I'll write to you, I promise"

"It's not the saaaame"

Meis antics were dramatic, but then again it is Mei so what do you really expect. The two of them had a long goodbye while Iida and Midoriya were getting ready to leave.

"So where are we meeting up with her"

"Uraraka said that she'd meet us here"

He pointed to a nearby river on the map. The letter had stated that due to recent activity from all for one that the exposition end immediately.

The two of them walk to where their horses were and ran into (Y/n), already riding. She nodded to them as they began back on their journey to the palace.

They reflected on the week they spent together. After the moment on the roof of the windmill they fell asleep up there. Mei teased her to death about it, stating how it was a 'star crossed love story'. (Y/n) came back with the fact that she didn't even think it was legal. Iida left the next day to deliver the letter to Uraraka. It took about a day. The four of them spent the rest of their time exploring the town and surrounding thin tree line. They would climb anything in sight is what was meant by that.

As they traveled along, lost in thought, the loud talking of soldiers brought them out of it.

Right as they were able to make out their individual voices it turned to a hush at the sight of the prince.

"What the- is that actually him"

One soldier whispered to another, not taking his gaze off of the prince for a second.

"Yeah I think so, I saw him a couple weeks back, and he's with those two so it must be"

Midoriya focused on the two and tilted his head looking puzzled. He couldn't hear them but he knew they were talking about him. The two's eyes widened and they looked away.

'Déjà vous much'

(Y/n) thought as she and Midoriya approached Uraraka.

"Hey, long time no see!"

"Yeah, how have you been?"

The two made casual conversation while Uraraka prepared to start again back to the castle. Once they were all moving Iida started conversing with Uraraka. The blush on both of their faces was very apparent.

Midoriya and (Y/n) were riding along next to each other silently. They were focusing on and out of different conversations held by the soldiers. Talks of the monsters they found in the forest, the strange music they heard a couple hours ago, even a girl who apparently had human flesh upon her lips who also had the black veins.

The occasional side glance towards the two was obvious but expected, how often do you get to see one of the highest ranking soldiers and the damn prince.

(Y/n) fiddled with the hilt of her sword, gifted to her by the queen herself and created with a technique known to very few.

(This is actually true as the picture shown has Damascus steel, up until very recently the technique was lost and even then was only known by very few

(This is actually true as the picture shown has Damascus steel, up until very recently the technique was lost and even then was only known by very few. It's actually pretty interesting to research and learn more about. That's it back to the story now)

She switched between this and looking at the scenery of the Great Plains. She had traveled through this pathway hundreds of times but each trip it seemed more beautiful than the last. She spotted people going along their ways, talking about what their plans were, children chasing each other up and down a hill, at one point she even spotted a boy around her age at a fire, or at least there was a lot of smoke.

Before she knew it they were back, the intricate stone pathway familiar to the bottoms of their shoes. The four of them broke off from the other soldiers, Iida and Uraraka still deep in conversation while (Y/n) and Midoriya tailed behind.

'This must be what third wheeling is like' thought Midoriya but (Y/n) didn't really seem to either notice or care.

He didn't realize how much he had missed his home, or his mother as she smiled warmly at his safe return.

I'm back! Again sorry that the chapters I released today were pretty short but I didn't know how to fit them all into one because I wanted to add a lot of little details in for later!
That's still all from me, have a good morning, day, and night again!
