"Madam Puddifoot's, of course!" She gushed, thinking about the upcoming weekend. "I've always wanted to go, remember. Like when Sirius took you but I'd actually have a good time." Caprice added, a smirk on her face as she recounted the night from over a year ago.
"You what?" Adelaide asked, kind of caught off guard by the mentioning of his name. She raised a brow at the two, making Violet gulp. It wasn't that she hated Eleanor, as hard as that was to believe, but she was competition in every aspect of her life that she wasn't used to - she had only known life at the top. But even people like Mulciber, who claimed to loath Eleanor, seemed to treat Violet as a second person to her. She was everything she wanted to be and that sadness fuelled into a rage whenever El was around and she couldn't help the roaring flames that burned inside her.
"We kind of dated, kind of didn't. In fourth year before we left for summer, he took me to Madam Puddifoot's. It was a complete disaster. If he didn't hate the place then it may have been semi-successful. What can I say? I am a sucker for cheesy romance." Violet admitted, finishing off her dinner. To be honest, she should correct that to 'if it was anyone else then it would have been perfect' but that was beside the point.
"You're a bit more than that, come one. Don't hide from Ada, she's our friend now." Caprice urged, slyly smiling as she picked at her vegetables. Obviously, she was trying to stir something based on the smug look on her face.
"Not anymore. That's okay, it wasn't good for either of us. We were in a vicious cycle. I haven't talked to him since February, I think." She sighed, resting her head on her hand as she thought about the two of them over the years. Violet was right, though. It had been bad for both of them and probably shouldn't have happened in the first place. There was an unspoken comfort between the two because they both couldn't be with the ones that they wanted to be with, even if they hadn't realised till now.
Adelaide didn't say a word, her opinions didn't mean anything in this situation. The three of them kept the silence until dinner was over and departed to their separate common rooms. Then, she was alone again. Sat by the fire, blocking out whatever the boys were talking about until she could move her body once again. Yet, her feet carried her out of the dorm when all she wanted to do was turn in for the evening. That's all she did now, sleep. Apparently, that wasn't on the tables as she ventured through the castle. Most people were outside, soaking up the last few hours of the Spring sunshine.

"Don't you dare!" Lily squealed, clinging on for dear life. The group of friends were gathered under the smoking tree as the sun was about to set. It was nice, peaceful. Isadora and Sirius sat together, talking about her newest drawing that sat in her hands. Dorcas, Edith, and Marlene were sat on the edge of the lake, spurring on Remus to dunk Lily in the river. James, Peter, and Mary sat together as they argued over the latest play that the team should make. Alice and Frank sat more than a few feet away, cuddling as the sun went down. They were accompanied by Jack, who stared at the redhead and the boy who was trying to tip her in, and Aaron who seemed completely out of it. Then there was Eleanor, who sat alone with her back pressed to the tree as she looked over all of her friends with a smile.
"And why are you sat alone?" Thomas quizzed, shuffling her over to share the stump of the tree as a backrest. The blonde let out a small laugh as he sat down. He wasn't one for touching unless he was comfortable with someone, El clearly earned those privileges as he threw his arm around her for a few seconds to pull her into a side hug.
"I was enjoying the silence, I guess that's ruined now." She responded with a cocky smile as she turned her head towards him as the boy rolled his eyes sarcastically. Though she wasn't wrong, once you got to know that boy then he never stopped talking - quite like Isadora. There was a reason the two were best friends.
