Anduin decided to open the bag of Doritos he almost forgot about and somewhat liked the taste. The savoriness paired with the Mountain Dew was a new experience to him. But, back on hand, he was getting nervous from D.Va's idea of being paired up on a date with somebody for the first time. He acknowledged that he may be High King, but he is an amateur at this part of life due to circumstances.
"So, Hana, why are you doing this??" Anduin asked nervously
"Well, your daddy said that he wanted us to let you experience being young, like, in our style. So, he won't mind, as this is part of the package. ;)" D.Va winked
"Here we go..." Ana said monotonously
"So first, we best get you dressed up! Ditch that armor and change up with the clothes I'm gonna get. You need to look a little more... soft. That outfit of yours just doesn't sit right on a date. I'm gonna call Lt. Morales to tell Raynor to make Nova get prepped. I'll be a minute."
D.Va got one of the long-range comms, and tuned to the frequency of the Medic armor of Lt. Morales.
*whizzing and crackling*
"State the nature of your medical emergency."
"Hi, Rosa!"
"Oh, hey there, Hana! What's the occasion?"
"Um, can you do me a lil favor? Please tell Jimmy to convince Nova to go on a date with Anduin??"
"Um, you might need to work a lot on that... Nova isn't exactly the type to go for romantic amateurs, let alone one that resembles Valerian."
"Damn it... all right, I'll be there. Where you at?"
"Just in Dragon Shire. Jim's with the blonde ice chick, just so you know."
"Great! Maybe more help to convince Nova then. See ya there."
*beep*
"Anduin, um, I might need some time to work things out. In the meantime, just have a chat with the other guys. They won't bore you."
D.Va went off, leaving the few others with Anduin.
"So, you've really never had a girlfriend? Man, not even a short fling?" Lúcio asked
"No, I'm afraid not. Numerous circumstances haven't been exactly kind to me. A dragon once kidnapped me, the world was in peril multiple times... so not much. Although they've been trying to pair me up with suitors due to the worry of who will be the heir to Stormwind's throne once my time comes to pass in the future." Anduin answered somberly
"Well, you're in luck. In the Nexus, you can get to be yourself, besides the territorial wars that occur here." Ana added
"I only hope Hana can get the deal through.." Tracer said
In Dragon Shire...
"Hey there, kiddo! What brings you here?" Jim greeted
"Jimmy, um, is it too much to ask if I'm gonna ask your help to convince Nova to go on a date with Anduin?" D.Va asked
"*spits drink out* Are you serious right now?? You're arranging a date for Varian's son with her??? What went up there in your head? Nova isn't exactly the soft type." he reacted
"Anduin said that he accidentally flirted with Nova, and that Nova returned some kind of response. That was the start of the idea. I mean, Anduin's never had a girlfriend, let alone a kiss or a date! He's practically square! Plus, I'm actually fulfilling Varian's request. After all, he said to let Anduin live like a teen.. hehe.." she responded
