As I was walking through the college hallways in a deep though, Aimee jumped out at me screaming. After she finally stopped laughing, she looked at me with all seriousness, "So, what's up with you missy?"

“Nothing really, I just finished unpacking all my stuff last night and it was just filled with stuff Max gave me.”

“Ooo, who is this Max guy, then?”

“He was my boyfriend, before he died.” I replied, with my eyes filling up with tears, I started to walk to our class room. Aimee followed me in silence.

“Elisa.” He stared at me concentrating deeply on something.

“What is it?” I asked sounding a little bit worried

“You see that apple tree over there?” He pointed at a tree on the other side of the field we was sat on. “I don’t think you can climb it.” I turned around to see a huge grin on his face.

“What makes you think that?”

“Because.”

“Huh? Max you know you need a better reason than that!” I stated with annoyance, as I started to run to the tree, with Max not far behind me. “Catch me if you can!”. Running through the field, full of daisies and other flowers, almost tripping on my own two feet, I managed to bet Max to the tree.

"You know I let you win. I just though I should let you feel like you can beat me at something."

"Pfffh. You're just saying that to make yourself sound good." I chuckled and started to climb the tree.

As I got to the top of the tree I lost my footing and feel, just as I though I was about to hit the floor I felt a pair of strong arms catch me.

"Baby, you know I will always be there to catch you."

"Hey, Elisa are you okay?" I was startled away from my thoughts to see a concerned Aimee staring at me.

"I'm fine." Aimee didn't believe that, I could she that she couldn't believe it.

"N'aww honey, is it because of that Max guy?" I slowly nodded as my eyes filled with tears, I tried to hold them back,  but I knew I couldn't hold them back. I rushed to the toilets as quickly as I could ignoring all the looks I was given.

"Elisa!" The toilet door banged open. "You know you shouldn't use that toilet paper, it will hurt your pretty little eyes.” Before I could say anything she stood on the sink, took down a ceiling tile, reached up and got a box of soft tissues. " It's my secret stash of tissues." She had a soft smile, but still showing a lot of concern. I couldn't help but smile back, I had only known her for about a week, yet she treated me like she's known me for years. I was very grateful for that.

"Finally, time for lunch." Aimee threw her hands in the air screaming. I couldn’t help but laugh at her. Aimee was trying quite hard to make sure I felt better after this morning. She ran for the door, just as she got to the door, she walked back in. “Forgot my money.” She had turned red from forgetting the most important thing, you can’t exactly by food with out any money.  I looked down at my feet thinking deeply. I looked back up to see a confused Aimee

“You know what would be fun?” I smiled to myself which made Aimee feel a little uncomfortable. “We should skip all the way to the canteen. It will be much quicker than walking.” A huge grin was plastered on her face after I suggested the idea.

“Ooo, that sounds like fun.” With our money in our pockets, we started to skip down the halls, arms linked, and being given the world’s dirtiest looks. We couldn’t help but laugh at them for being so mature.

“Ooof.” Both me and Aimee fell to the floor. While laughing we looked up to see Ruby, on the floor, red with anger, getting up off the floor.

“Argh. Can’t you two ever watch where you're going?” She practically screamed at us. I slowly got up brush any dust or dirt that might of got on my clothes.

“Well, we do normally watch where we’re going.” I calmly replied. “But we normally don't expect a witch like you to come out of no where.” I gave a cheeky little smile, as Ruby turned a brighter shade of red.

“Listen new girl.” She continued to get redder and redder. “You better not mess with me. You will regret it.”

“Ooo, I’m so scared of an orange plastic Barbie.” I said sarcastically. “I’m not going to be scared of some one who can’t even dress properly, so please don’t bother with the threats.” I looked at her from head to toe with disgust, she was only wearing a short skirt with only goes down to her mid thigh, a tight top with only just covers her breast and a pair of sandal type heels. Before she could reply I pushed pass her and continued my way to the canteen, with Aimee right beside of me.
