Kevin took a step closer to Steven and a whole row of Lapises pointed ice swords at him.

"Listen Universe, We know something many don't. We know you're little secret" Kevin threatened.

Steven was casually filing his nails.
"Oh, I know you do," he said, more focused on his nails than the 110 people trying to kill him.

Kevin pulled the gun from his back and Steven's Lapises were about to attack, but he stopped them. He put his nail file away and pulled out a small dagger, picking his teeth with it.

I actually can't believe that guy.

"If you know why don't you do the honours," Kevin told him.

"Okay, okay! I was a hybrid until I learned how to unfuse with my gem half 10 years ago. It's funny actually, someone your all close to is telling the exact same lie." Steven sneered.

Everyone looked around, confused.

"Who? TELL ME NOW! WHO?" Kevin yelled, agitated.

"I think I'll let her do the honours," He said cooed before winking at me.

Oh crap! How on earth does he know?

The whole rebellion turned to me in shock.
"Rose? He isn't talking about you is he?" Kevin asked, in a hurt tone.

I know I can trust them.

Zach's POV

I unfused with (Y/n) and hugged her, leaving her tears to soak my top. The crowd around us gasped, I took a deep breath and spoke up.

"You guys were right, Steven Universe is a fusion. As for me, I am Zach Diamond; his gem half. I've been mentally and physically abused by Steven, he kept me trapped in a fusion for 10 years now. But being Rose with (Y/n) made me realise that fusion shouldn't feel like it did with Steven. He ignored me for so long that I had to push to be able to live normally! The diamond eyes he gets sometimes which made him kind and caring were mine, I'm the diamond boy."

The crowd began to talk but was silenced by Garnet
"He's telling the truth, I see nothing but pain and darkness in his past."

I smiled at her and then turned to Kevin who was now really close to me, glaring at me.
I thought he was mad at me but he smiled and said
"Zach and (Y/n), welcome to the rebellion!"

Everyone cheered and (Y/n) looked up at me, kissing my cheek before we fused again.

Scarlet's POV

I was back and I was ready.

"Wait a sec!" Amethyst called out. The crowd split so she could be seen.
"If (Y/n) and Zach are fused, that means Zach and Steven aren't! Steven is gemless!"
"That means he can die!" Connie continued.

"Huh, I must say not even I thought about that" Steven added.

I honestly forgot he was there.

"WILL YOU SHUT UP!" Kevin yelled.

From then on everything moved in a blur.
Kevin aimed his gun at Steven and pulled the trigger, sending a bullet flying towards him.
Steven swung his dagger around and it extended into a sword. He then held the sword up to his chest and the bullet ricocheted, bouncing off of the sword and hitting Kevin straight in the head.
"NO!" Jamie screamed, pushing to the front.
He held Kevin in his arms and cried his eyes out. I could only help him back onto his feet since Steven had the healing side of Zach's powers. Jamie's top was covered in blood and tears and he stood shivering at the sight of his lover dead on the ground.

"Oh. My. Stars! I k-killed him!" Steven cried out.
I believe for a split second that Steven was showing traces of compassion, that he actually cared but I was a fool do to so.
He dramatically wiped a fake tear from his eye and replace his fake sorrow with a devilish grin.
"...Anyways," he said, pointing his sword towards the air.
When he did, his whole gem army pulled all their weapons out.
Slowly he let the sword fall until it was pointing towards us.

His army charged.

I lowered my stance and stayed focused, not letting the commotion bother me.

Let's go.
