That song is always a vibe. It usually helps me go to sleep but it's not working. Ugh. Maybe I just need something to drink.

I got out of bed quietly trying not to wake Huey up and went downstairs, to the fridge. Maybe some water will help. My throat do feel dry as fuck right now.

I got a water bottle out the fridge and chugged it. I gotta admit it was refreshing, but didn't work.

Damn, why can't I fucking sleep?

I closed the fridge and Huey was standing right there.

I yelped and punched him in his chest by accident.

He grunted.

"Damn, that hurt"

I whisper yelled at him.

"Huey what the hell?! You almost gave me a goddamn heart attack!"

"I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to"

"And what the hell are you doing up????"

"I could be asking you the same thing"

I sighed.

"I couldn't sleep. Did I wake you up? I'm sorry"

"It's fine. I couldn't sleep either"

"But you wer-"

"I wasn't. I just layed there"

"Well that explains it"

I sighed and walked over to him and layed my head on his shoulder.

"What should we do?"

"We could just talk"

I raised my head up to look at him.

"About what?"

"Anything you want. I'll listen. We'll talk, until we fall asleep. And if that doesn't work, we'll go watch the sunrise. How about that?"

I smiled and nodded my head at him. I grabbed another bottle water for me and him, and we headed upstairs.

Hours and hours passed by with me just talking, talking, talking and talking. He learned some stuff about me that I've never told anyone before. Now it was his turn.

More and more hours passed by and we didn't even realize it was daytime. We were so engaged in the deepness of our conversation, that we lost track of time, but I'm not complaining.

I'm happy with the fact that Huey is more comfortable with opening up to me now. I realize that we both have been through some shit throughout our lives but we're standing where were at now is all that matters.

I was on my side of the bed while Huey was on the other and he and I were okay with that.

"It's so crazy how much stuff we vented to each other Huey"

"I'm shocked. But also relieved at the same time. It's like a big weight has been lifted off my chest and I can breathe again"

"Honestly Huey, I feel the same fucking way. Also, thank you for sharing with me and listening to me"

"Of course"

I smiled at him and looked at my ceiling with my hand behind my head.

Just then, the front door opened. Auntie.

"STAR!! I'M HOME!!"

"UP HERE AUNTIE!!"

She walked upstairs into my room.

"How was your nig- Huey?"

"Yeah. He stayed the night auntie"

"Uh huh. And what did you 2 do?"

"Auntie!! Relax we didn't do anything, right Huey?"

"Yes"

"We just stayed up all night and talked and talked and talked, until the morning"

"Hm. Alright then. I'm going to sleep. Be safe you 2!"

She walked out of the room.

"We will!"

I yawned and layed back down and turned towards Huey.

"Huey, tell me that story of you and Riley again"

"Okay Star"

"When me and Riley were younger..."

I listened to his voice as he continued to speak and my eyes started getting heavier.

Quick switch to Huey

"And that's how we got our first guns"

"Star?"

I looked down at her to see she was sleep.

I covered her up and layed down with her and closed my eyes until I fell asleep.
