Your POV

Park Chanyeol is my best friend. The two of us have stuck by each other for as long as I can remember, and that hasn't changed.

Right now, I'm sitting on my couch at home with him watching a movie. Specifically a horror movie that he's forcing me to watch.

I jumped a couple of times out of fear and hid my face in a nearby pillow, not wanting to see anymore. Lucky for me, it was almost over.

Seeing me practically suffocating myself in a pillow, Chanyeol moved over to me and wrapped his arms around me. I jump once again, startled by him. This causes him to pull me closer.

I try to get out of his grasp, but he's stronger than me.

"Don't try to fight it, (Y/N).", Chanyeol whispers in my ear.

I stop struggling and hide my blushing face in his shirt due to his closeness.

By the time the movie ends, I'm shaking and clutching onto Chanyeol, who is chuckling at me.

"You think this is funny?!?", I shout, angry that he's laughing at me.

"Aniyo, I think it's cute how you're holding on to me.", he explains, still chuckling.

Realizing that I was still hanging on to him for dear life, I immediately scoot away from him. It's not that I didn't like it. I've actually had a crush on him since I can remember. It's just a little awkward that he pointed it out. Scratch that, it's really awkward.

I notice Chanyeol frown at what I did.

"Chanyeol, are you okay?", I ask gently.

"(Y/N), how do you feel about me?", he asks, ignoring my question.

My heart races at his question.

Should I tell him?, I think.

"W-why?", I stutter nervously.

Chanyeol sighs and scoots over to me. He grabs my hand before speaking.

"To be honest, I've wanted to tell you something for a long time now. And that is that, I'm in love with you (Y/N).", he confesses.

Chanyeol, my best friend and longtime crush, loves me?

I feel ecstatic at this news.

"So, will you accept my feelings and let me be your boyfriend?", he asks, looking into my eyes hopefully.

"Yes!! I love you too, Chanyeol!", I shout hugging him tightly.

He hugs me back and I can feel that he's smiling, even if I'm not looking at him.

He lets go of me, disappointing me, but surprises me by crash his lips into mine.

And let me say, that kiss felt like magic.
