Chapter 15 The 57th Expedition Part 3

Levi fired a sound bomb that deafened everyone's ears.

"A sound blast?!" Eren asked

"What are your jobs? Do they involve getting overwhelmed by fickle emotions? That shouldn't be the case. Our squad's duty is to keep this brat from getting a single scratch on him. Even if it costs our lives."Levi said

"So it wasn't to watch me?" Eren thought

"We'll continue to flee on horse. Got that?" Levi asked

"Yes, sir." Petra replied

They kept running while Eren kept whining about wanting to transform and fight the Female Titan, but he was stopped by the others asking him to believe in them. They got past a part of the forest where traps were settled and multiple troops hiding.

"Fire!" Erwin shouted

The soldiers pulled the trigger of the traps and multiple hooks were shot at the Female Titan while it covers it's nape.

"After securing the horses up ahead, switch to three-dimensional maneuvers. I'll act separately for a while. Eld will take charge of the squad. Hide Eren a good distance from that Titan. I'll leave the horses to you." Levi said and he swinged to a tree and went back to the Titan

"Could they be... capturing that Titan... alive?" Eren asked

They looked at each other confused

"Well, Eren? See that? We captured that Titan!" Gunther said

"This is the power of the Survey Corps! Don't underestimate us, you dolt! Well, you get it now?!" Oluo said

"Yes!" Eren said while smiling

Back to Y/N and the others...

Y/N was sitting on a branch beside Christa's branch and they saw a Titan trying to climb up the tree.

"Um... it's climbing up." Christa said

"Well, I guess move aside once it gets up here. Then again... I suspect withdrawal orders will be issued in a bit." A scout named 'Nanaba' said

"Is that because of the explosion we heard coming from inside the forest?" Christa asked

"Maybe." Nanaba said

"Damn it. What happened, Annie?" Y/N thought

"Let's move a bit, Armin!" Jean said

"Okay!" Armin replied and they jumped off a tree where a Titan was climbing up.

"Looks like the bastard's got a hang of it. It's getting better and better at climbing." Jean said

Y/N looked at the Titan and snickered

"This fucking Titan reminds me of Zeke." Y/N tried his best not to laugh while imagining Zeke climbing up a tree and swinging from tree to tree in his Titan form.

"That means they have the capacity to learn. Frighteningly so, but likely some more so than others." Armin said

"Armin, it sounds like something is happening inside the forest, and I have a good idea of what it might be." Jean said

"Any good idea by Jean is not a good idea." Y/N said

"Shut up! Listen to me first!" Jean said

"I'll hear it." Y/N said

"We led that Female Titan to capture it, didn't we? To be precise, it's to capture the human inside it. Commander Erwin's goal was that all along." Jean said
